Chapter 10:- Crushed

Nesiyln's POV
I just couldn't stop thinking about that kiss. I laid down outside with Coral wrapped around me. I looked up at the stars. Then I spotted a star that looked different, I put my hand in my pocket and pulled out the gem. It was Aqua, and so was the star. I looked between them and compared their colors. I held the gem up then more stars appeared and made a new constellation, which looked like the sprites tree. I got up and stared at it. Suddenly an aqua beam came down and surged through my body. Once it stopped I fell onto my hands and knees. I was breathless. Before I could process what just happened, something moved in the bushes. My head shot up and I heard Coral move around.
" AMBUSH!" I heard someone shout in the distance, the a brownie jumped out and screamed, more followed it. I quickly pulled out my sword and killed it. I fought them off, one by one. I punched, kicked and stabbed them. I stood there breathing heavily and looked around. Death bodies laid around me. I didn't have time to process what happened, before I heard swords clashing and quickly ran to find the source. It was Xhalth, he needed some help. I ran up and killed some in with a dagger. I quickly went back to back with him.
" Thanks for the help" he said.
" No worries" I said breathless. I charged at the ones in front of me, it was three against one.
" Dimaya, Tarrōs power" I said. I wet the ground beneath them and they slowly starting sinking, then I made vines come out of the ground and pull them fully under. My head shot up as I heard someone shouting.
" Zarthorn!" I whispered to myself. I looked at Xhalth and he saw me.
" I'm fine. Go!" He said killing a couple of brownies. I whistled as I ran off, grabbing coral as she flew past. I put my foot in the lower hoop and stayed at the side of her neck. I looked around and saw him, surrounded. As I jumped down, he was stabbed on his leg, he fell and I landed with him between both legs.
" Don't worry I got ya" I said kneeling down looking at him. The brownies started to come closer, I stood up and pointed my sword at them and they backed away.
" Go, there's too many. Save yourself" he said. I looked at him with and angry expression.
" Are you that stupid!" I said.
" May-"
" Cover your face" I said interrupting him. He didn't move. "DO IT!" I shouted. I pulled out the gem and it glowed. Through my squinted eyes I saw the brownies disintegrate. I felt the gem burn through my hand, and it stopped glowing. I opened my hand, the gem was covered in blood, I peeled it off my hand and put it back in my pocket. I looked at Zarthorn and then his leg. Kneeling down I ripped his pants and wrapped his leg. He winced as I was doing it.
" oh stop being such a baby". I said.
" What it hurts" he said.
" So if one of the boys was doing this, would you still wince?" I asked. He didn't respond " exactly" I whistled and coral came. I helped him up and flew above the base.
" It's all clear" he said and we landed at the medical bay. I laid him on the bed and a doctor came over.
" It's ok. I can do it" I said and he walked away. I unwrapped his wound and cleaned it. He sat up and watched me as I started wrapping it. I put my hand on his face and pushed him back.
" Lay down" I said.
" Gross, wipe your blood- wait is this from the gem?" He asked grabbing my hand.
" Yes it is. Can I wrap your leg first" I said. He let go and I finished. Then he wrapped my hand.
" You shouldn't use it. Only when it's life or death" he said.
" Yea I know" I said. Once he finished I helped him back to his tent.
" Thanks again for saving me" he said hopping to his chair.
" Yea next time don't be so stupid" I said leaning on the pole.
" why are you upset. I'm fine don't worry, I will be as good as new in a couple of days" he said trying to walking over to me.
" It's not that it's just. You knew that you were going to die if I didn't help you. And you kissed me yesterday- do you know what that dose to someone!" I said raising my voice.
" I'm sorry I shouldn't of done that" he was right in front of me. He went to say something but was interrupted by cam running around the corner.
" Nesiyln, we have been looking for you everywhere" Cam said.
" How did you know where to find me?" I asked.
" Some men said they say you helping Zarthorn to his tent. I'm not interrupting anything am I?" He asked. I looked between them and read their minds. They were both arguing about getting me. Zarthorn was proud and Camraid was jealous. I coughed and broke the silence.
" No I was just helping him. Just a minute" I said and helped him to him bed.
" Thank you again" he said and I nodded. I jumped out and walked with Cam.
" would you like to get some food?" He asked and my stomach grumbled. " I will take that as a yes then" he said and we both laughed. We sat down and laughed, I talked to everyone until the sun had risen.
" well I better go get Zarthorn so he can eat something" I said getting up.
" oh I will help you" he said getting up.
" No I'm fine" I said pushing him back down and walking away.
" Wait up I'm coming" he got up again, I stopped and clenched my fists.
" I don't need your help" I said, I felt a buzz in my hands. I saw him look down. I shook my hands and walked away. I went through all the tents and heard him following me. I went through a clearing, before I could disappear again Cam shouted.
" Nesiyln stop!" I stopped and stood which my back to him. " why are you running away from me?" He asked.
" Because your following me" I said, my  back to him still.
" cause I want to help and you don't want me too" he replied stepping closer. I turned around and he stopped.
" yea because I can do this by myself" I raised my voice.
" Yea I know but why won't you let me help you. What's going on?" He asked walking up to me. I looked down at my feet and rubbed my arms. Then his hand grabbed my chin and moved my head.  " Nesiyln tell me what's happening"
" I read your mind. I know that Zarthorn likes me" I sighed. " And you do to"
" It's awkward for you isn't it" he said.
" Yes it is. I'm not used to boys liking me other than friends" I said throwing my arms around.
" I didn't want to tell you. Because I didn't want you risking your life to save me" he said.
" your my brother. I will always risk my life to save you" I said.
" Technically your not. We just raised you" Garwen said walking out of the shadows.
" Don't tell me you like me to?" I said slouching.
" Ew oh god no" he said. " No offense" he said. " Wait are you two a thing?" He said pointing between us.
" Noooo" we both said stepping away from each other.
" Ok good. Any way, I just got a message from the king . He wants us to wait here till more supplies come and the head east to Exlar" Garwen said.
" What's Exlar?" I asked.
" I'm surprised you don't remember. You always went there with your parents. Maybe you were to young to remember. It's a beautiful place covered in trees, it's got enough space for dragons to fly under the tree tops" said Camraid. I nodded. " Go get Zarthorn but be carful he might eat you, cause he's so hungry" laughed Camraid. I walked off, and went to his tent. He wasn't there. I searched inside his tent and couldn't find him.
" Where is he?" I said. Then I heard someone fall over. I ran out and towards the noise. As I got closer I heard some men laughing. As I can around the corner I saw Zarthorn on the ground.
" What's going on here?" I asked trying not to laugh.
" I was hungry so I tried to get some food and I fell" he said.
" Duh " I said helping him up. Once I did a couple of dragons flew past and they were chasing each other.
" Jeez those boys love there archery tag" Zarthorn smirked and shook his head.
" Archery tag?" I asked.
" You have two teams. You get a bow and some soft arrows with paint the colour of your choice. And the end the one covered in the most paint loses" said Xhalth. Then two dragons of similar colour landed. I left Zarthorn and heard him fall but didn't looked. I walked to the dragons and went to pat them.
" their twins" I said.
" Yea we are" said the two riders as they jumped off. I looked at the boys. They had some battle scars and had their hair in man buns.
" I wouldn't pat our dragons" said one.
" They don't really like people" said the other. Then their dragons lend towards me and I touched them. The boys just stared at me.
" Sârros and Sorrãn this is Nesiyln. Also known and Feren" said Zarthorn.
" Jeez Nesiyln you like stealing people's dragons" Laughed Garwen as he walked over with Cam beside him. I laughed and the dragons shook their heads.
" Sârros, Sorrãn. You brought the supplies" Camraid asked.
" Yes we did and dropped them off at the front. Bows arrows and swords. The king said you need to hunt for your own food." Said Sârros.
" Why? We have plenty food back home" I said.
" No. We were attacked by some brownies. They destroyed all our crops. We are very short in food" Sorrãn said.
" Is everyone ok?" Zarthorn asked. They both nodded.
" Ok boys, go set up your tent" Garwen said and they ran off. Then everyone left, as Zarthorn was walking behind me I stepped back and we both fell over.
" Are you ok?" I asked.
" Yea I'm goo" he said and we both bursted out laughing.

Love is in the air. So at this point I don't want to continue to write because I want to know who you guys want Nesiyln to be with in the end. So comment and tell me who, Zarthorn or Camraid or Xhalth or even someone new.
