I've held back posting this because, frankly, it scared the shit out of me. It felt too real and all too familiar. But now I feel like the statutes of limitation has ended for this dream, so I'm posting it now.
...she came out of the neighbor's house to see that things can be worse, her brother was home. With every ounce of courage she had, she marched and opened the door, only to be pulled by the hair by her nightmare; but she didn't want to die without a fight. She opened the door with all her might and shouted "He HARASS---"
Even before she could finish saying it, she woke up. She felt it, she felt the word almost come out of her mouth. She felt the numbness; she was sedating herself all this time. She pinched herself to feel the pain, she felt like cutting her wrist, she felt it come back; all the memories and frustration, it came out of nowhere. She felt her heart beat so fast and so loud. Tears came out, so did the pain and the anguish she tried to set aside. She felt her heart hurt.
