47. You Shouldn't Have Done That (Micro)

Cradling his unmoving body, she sobbed. Star rocked back and forth, ignoring the confused and shocked looks on the monsters' faces. Her sobs echoed across the now silent battlefield and pierced the heart of Ludo. The battle had ended after her startled cry when Marco had been hit by a stray claw from one of the monsters, falling down to the hard ground.

She embraced his body, not noticing that the red seeping from the slash on his chest was dying her blue dress a pink shade. Ludo could see her shoulders shaking with each agonizing sob and a feeling of guilt rang through his body. The boy wasn't supposed to die, he just wanted the wand. He never wanted this.

The sobbing stopped, becoming giggles. The monsters all stared hard at the kneeling girl, fear bleeding through their faces. Ludo started to back away.

Star stood up, blood dripping off her clothes, and continued to laugh. Her laughs soon began to come out harder and harder. Hysterical.

"Star...."

"You.... Shouldn't... Have.... Done...."

Star turned around, a wide smile etched across her face. She clenched one fist, gripping her wand in the other. Madness in her voice, she rose the wand and pointed towards Ludo.
