As I sat on the plane and stared out the window, I couldn't help but think of how much I hated my life. When my little sister Abby was diagnosed with TB (Tuberculosis), my mother sent us to London to live with our father because she Couldn't afford treatment for Abby. My parents split when I was 12, right after Abby was born. Abby is only 6 and my only sibling, so when I heard of the news I broke out in tears.
I was mostly glad to move, I always wanted to start my life over ever since the incident with Damen. Damen was my boyfriend, whom I thought I loved and began to believe he loved me too. We were together since I was 15 & we broke up shortly after my 18th birthday. One day I wanted to surprise my bestfriend with a visit so I went to her house, what I saw broke my heart! My BESTFRIEND and my BOYFRIEND were on the living room couch fucking! I have always wished I would've knocked instead of just walking in, but nothing could have changed what I saw that day . Ever since then, I believe love is Non-existant.

By the time we arrived at the Doncaster airport it was already half past 8. The plane ride was long and I didn't sleep at all due to my constant thoughts. As we walked out of the plane I saw a big bulky guy dressed in a suit with a sign that read "RILEY & ABBY!". Of course my Dad sent one of his people to come pick us up, he's never had time for us, I don't know why I was expecting a change out of him.
I gathered our stuff and made my way towards the guy.
"I'm Riley, and this is my sister Abby" I told him when I got close enough.
"Howdy" he replied, failing at his attempted southern-American accent. "My name's Stan and I'll be your chauffeur."
Great. I thought, this day couldn't get any worse.

*I know this is a short chapter but i'm just getting started. Please don't hate, i'm doing my best and its my first fanfic.
Also TB is a contiguous bacterial infection that involves the lungs, but can spread to other organs. Symptoms of TB are; Mucous, Fever, Fatigue, excessive sweating and weight loss.
