The day was going way too fast. Rosie helped with the laundry. It was a hard life here for me. Doing laundry in buckets is no idea of a good life. Rosie was use to it, but would go up to me and say, what is that thing you call that washes clothes without hands? I laughed and told her it's a washing machine. Rosie was smart and was getting use to the modern way of life. Rosie I said, what would happen if I could bring here a washer and dryer?
Rosie almost fainted as if I had punched her. Rosie's faced paled and whispered low telling me that could never happen in this century. They would say we were witches! We could be hanged for it. Heather, I mean Alice, you have to keep all your stuff from the future hidden in the attic because we would be hanged in no time! Don't worry I told her this will never happen. I have read many books and knew all too well what Rosie meant. I remember the book I read, "Salem's Lot"!
I had it all too well in my memory what happen to all those women!
My cell phone is also in the trunk with the ring. No one goes up there but us. Remember here you are Alice. Don't mention Heather to Sam anymore. Sam doesn't know what is happening and all he knows is that you fell and bumped your head. It is safe for him and all to just think that was what happened!
I assured Rosie that it would be our little secret and Rosie felt more at eased. Poor Rosie it was really too much for her. She was so good to me that I grown to love her like a sister. I went to my room to think in the quiet of my room. I felt a little nervous thinking about what exactly did Sam wanted to talk about tonight.(Author):
Hoping this chapter will take you back in time and see the action which Rosie and Heather will go through and many challenges that they both will be exposed to....
