Ha Ha looked at me and stood up. "Min Kyung would you mind coming out for a moment?" I nodded and followed him, still in shock. I couldnt get the image of Jae Suk's eyes out of my mind. They were all white. Its like the pupil of his eyes were gone.
Ha Ha sat against the wall outside the door and patted the space near him. I sat down beside him. "What happened to Seung Hyun?" I asked. "Choi Min Soo did that,"
"He did that to his son? Why?"
"I dunno, Seung Hyun refused to talk about it. But I think that he probably didn't satisfy Min Soo's orders. That's how he gets punished," I listened and nodded. "And... for Jae Suk's eyes, it happens when he is healing someone,"
"Angels can heal others?"
"No, but in special cases, some people will be granted the gift of healing when they were born, if their parents did mostly good things and be kind for their whole life,"
I raised my brows. "Why didn't he tell me about that before?"
Ha Ha paused for a moment and spoke. "I guess he just doesn't want to let other people know about it. Maybe he have expected how you would react after seeing him like that. You were scared weren't you?" I stared at the floor. Ha Ha opened his mouth again but the door was opened and Jae Suk appeared. "Sorry, am I interrupting?" Ha Ha shook his head and stood up, offering his hands to me. "No we were just talking. Is Seung Hyun okay now?" Jae Suk smiled. "Almost. I have to grab my medical kit in my room to properly fix him up so I'll be back,"
Seung Hyun's arm looked a lot better now. The blood wasn't running down his arms anymore and it looked well contained. He glanced up at me. "Don't look at me like I'm going to die, I still have a long life to go on," he joked. I smiled at his attempt to be nice to me.
Ha Ha took out a vial of blue-ish liquid from his cabinet and handed it to Seung Hyun.
"For the pain," Seung Hyun thanked him and drank the whole thing. Jae Suk came back with his medical kit and set it on the bed. He opened it and pulled out a needle. He put a red thread through it and brought it near to Seung Hyun's arm. "This is going to hurt,"
I stopped him. "Please don't tell me that you are going to sew his arm back," He chuckled. "That's exactly what I am going to do," he started pushing the needle through Seung Hyun's skin. Seung Hyun breathed in deeply and closed his eyes.
-----------------------------------------
"We're done. Don't do anything stupid to pull the thread out," Jae Suk said setting the needle down. "Not guaranteeing but thanks, I owe you one," Seung Hyun said before leaving.
-----------------------------------------
"Morning my dear children!" we were greeted by aunty Dae Sun as soon as we entered the restaurant. "3 sets of number 79 please," Ha Ha said to the waiter. The waiter nodded and went away. "What food is that?" I asked. "You'll see," he winked.
Ha Ha's POV
Min Kyung stood up and excused herself to the washroom.
"Why did you save him? He can heal himself with his own power," I questioned Jae Suk. "Even though we could heal ourselves a lot faster with our own power but the weapon Choi Min Soo used to struck him is too powerful. He might die if I choose to leave him like that,"
"I'm not letting you save him anymore if there's a next time,"
Jae Suk's POV
"What are you going to do with her?"
"I-I don't know..."
"Jae Suk, remember that she can save your life, maybe you can try talking to h-"
"Let's not talk about this now okay?" I cut Ha Ha off and drank my water. When I set the cup down I noticed a few drops of red fluid at the edge. I tried to hold in the cough but the pain in my body came again. Cold sweats ran down my face and my vision was getting blurry.
