Dipper's POV

"I think I'm going to kill one of them right now, just for the heck of it," Bill cackled, tightening  his grip around Mabel and I's bodies, her fist still held tightly to the collar of my tattered blue vest.

Mabel and I stared at each other speechless, our lips quivering in an attempt to form words, yet no sound comes. We don't have much time' I thought. I gave her a look, letting her know with nothing but widened eyes that we have to try to get out of his grip, before it happens, before it's too late.

"Eenie," I keep struggling, thrusting my feet into his hand, ramming my fists into his fingers.

"Meenie," I punched as hard as I could. Not like this. We can't die like this.We still have so much of our lives left, so much to live for. I glance at Mabel, her fists gripping at me, trying to keep us close.

"Miney," Please let it be me who dies. It can't be Mabel. Not her.

We both turned. His eye had a Pine Tree on it. 'No' I thought. 'It can't be her it has to be me!'

A Shooting Star took its place.

"YOU!" Bill exclaimed. He held his hand up ready to snap his fingers.

My eyes screw shut. I grabbed Mabel in attempt to keep her alive. "Kill me!" I cried, my jaw locking as I shout, but it was pointless.

Grunkle Ford tried to speak, rising to his feet and opening his mouth in protest, but it was too late.

Snap.

Her eyes rolled back into her head and they closed. Bill dropped us, our bodies falling to the ground in a heap, Mabel going limp her last word slipped from her lips. "Dipper..."

I felt the pain rush in me as I hit the ground, hard. I didn't care how much my body ached outside, angry red marks on my legs and pain shooting through my bones as I sat up and grabbed Mabel.

"Mabel. Mabel, it's me. It's me, Mabel I'm here. I'm right here. Mabel?" I whimpered, my voice cracking as I grip her limp corpse to my chest.

"Just get into my mind, demon!" Ford cried, falling onto his knees with a rough sob.

"You killed her! How could you one eyed monster?! A little, small innocent girl, you-" Yelled Stan in frustration, running toward him.

Red ropes grabbed him, a loud grunt erupting from his chest as they tightened around his body, as the cage fell into the ground.

"Finally, you've come your senses sixer. And and if you ask me I just did you a favor." Bill cooly said, holding out his hand to examine the non existent nails on his  hand.

We all looked up, anger filling our eyes. "What?!" Ford growled.

"Shooting Star was a burden and a nuisance. I got rid of her and left you the one that actually has some common sense. You should be thanking me!" He stated in disbelief.

I felt the tears in my eyes sting. I tried to speak but my gritted teeth wouldn't allow it.

"Anyways. Do we have a deal?" Bill asked, his hand lighting up in blue flames.

Ford wiped away his tears and shook Bill's hand.

Bill turned to stone and entered Ford's mind. The red ropes released Stan. He took off his fez to reveal that he was really Ford.

"I'm sorry Mabel." He said turning to her limp body.

"I'll make him pay," He sobbed pulling out the memory gun.

He typed in the words 'Stanley Pines' and turned away as he erased Stan's mind. Soon enough the world around us was getting sucked back into the Inter Dimensional rip in the sky. I held onto Mabel and Ford did the same with Stan.

The weirdness wave came back but it was reversed this time. It took all the weirdness away. As soon as it came across us we were in the forest. Stan was lying on the ground, Ford was standing next to me, but Mabel was gone. I looked around desperate to find her until a six fingered hand grabbed my shoulder.

"She's gone," he whispered.

I felt tears fall down my cheek as I hugged him.

"Huh? Who are you? Who am I?" Stan asked waking up.

"Stanley," Ford murmured approaching him.

"You did it. You saved the world," he cried as he hugged him.

We took Stan back to the shack in hopes of regaining his memory. "How will we make him remember?" I asked as we walked to the living room.

I tipped over something. I picked it up and wiped off the debris.

'Summer memories'

It was Mabel's scrapbook. I opened it with Stan lurking behind. I felt hot tears streaming down my face as I pointed to the pictures.

"I think know her," He said after a while pointing to a picture of Mabel smiling.

"That's Mabel," I whispered.

"Where is she?" He asked.

My eyes widened in fear. Tears continued to spill down my cheeks.

"Where's Mabel?" He asked remembering her.

"She's gone."

I sat my stuff on the bus along with Mabel's. I then went to go bring Waddles on and the bus driver, seeing my face, didn't argue.

I had said goodbye almost too many times. I waved to everyone as the bus moved forward. I took a deep breath staring at the crying pig sitting next to me.

"I miss her too Waddles."

"I miss her too"

My parents argued downstairs on the phone with Grunkle Stan. I could hear them yelling at him.

Stan had told them that Mabel died from a fire. She was at the diner and couldn't escape after she helped everyone else get out. It was pretty believable. The dinner actually did burn down, it sounded like something Mabel would do, and that meant there was no body.

It was hard to sleep. I was laying in Mabel's bed with Waddles curled up next to me. I didn't know how I'd ever make it through life without Mabel.

That thought stuck in my head and I slowly fell asleep.

"Dipper! Come on! Let's go!" Mabel shouted.

"I'm coming!" I said running up to her.

The closer I got to her the more I noticed that she seemed different. She looked hurt, broken, lost, and scared.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go!" She yelled pointing towards the massive hill she wanted to roll down.

"Are you okay?" I asked.
