Chapter 2

Kiana's POV

Meeting up at the beach is harder than you think. Especially when you have meathead guy friends. I had forgotten that Gabe had football practice and that Rob and Jimmy had basketball practice. While Noel had baseball practice and Elias was tutoring someone. So we had to wait till 8:00 to get everyone to the beach. In the mean time. I went to Starbucks by myself to get a treat before the beach. After I left the girls at the house.

Once I got to Starbucks I called Jess. I just couldn't go to our favorite spot and not get her something.
Ring ring ringggggg

"Hey Jess it's Kiana."
"Oh. Hey! What's up?"
"Well, I'm at Starbucks. You want anything?"
"Uh yeah! Thanks for thinking of me sis!"
"No problem lil sister. What would you like?"
"Can you get me a iced coffee with an extra shot of espresso? I have a ton of chemistry homework tonight?"
"Yeah definitely! Okay I'll drop it off while I'm getting ready for the beach."
"Oh alright."
"Okay well bye see you later,"
"Bye Kiana."

I walk up to the counter but I don't feel like rushing anything. I'm still drained from school. I get a text from Luke.

Lukey😋💙: Hey! Where are you? Wanted to see you before the beach?
Me: I'm at Starbucks. The one on 37th Blvd.
Lukey😋💙: Alright! See you in like 30 sec.
Me: alright...

I see him as he comes through the door. We walk up to the counter. I notice the girl at the counter is totally eyeballing Luke. Okay. I know I'm not the type to get jealous.

"Heyyyy what are you gonna get today? I already know what I want😏"
I clear my throat. "Uh. I'll have a iced raspberry tea with an extra mint leaf and a iced coffee with an extra shot of espresso. And BABE what do you want?"
"Yeah BABE what do you wantttt?" Okay this girl was ticking me off.
Luke smiled knowing what I meant,
"Well amazing girlfriend that I love. I'm actually not in the mood for anything right now. But I'll pay for it Ki. How much Ms?"
Well this should be interesting...
"Well Sirrrrr," woah there. Wayyyy too many r's missy.
"Okay! You know what!? What's our price?"
"Okay. Okay. Your price is 8.65."
Luke payed and I grabbed the cups and whipped him from the counter. When we exit. We get into his car and drive back to my house.

Jess's POV

After I mowed the lawn I took a quick shower and left to Leah's house. Once I got there we started getting the music and food ready. "Leah I know I say this like a hundred time already but I love your house."
"Haha you say that every time your over and that's like every day, but thx Jess."
"Your welcome." I said.

After we got everything set up people started coming. This party was like a reunion for are elementary friends in are grade. Some people couldn't make it, but that's fine.

"Hey Brian welcome."
"Hey" he said back.

Then more people came.
"Hey June, Matthew, and April."

"Oh hey welcome Max, May, and Austin."

Then more people came and after everyone came we welcomed them. "So welcome everyone now let's get this party started!!!!" Said Leah. Everyone was dancing and eating and having a good time.

After I said hello to some of my friends I thought it would be fun to do Karaoke. "Hey guys it's karaoke time and I would like to sing my best friend and I favorite song and Leah if you want to sing with me then you can. The song I'm going to sing is fight song."

We started to sing.

After I sang everyone clapped and then it was time for someone else to sing.

Once we were done I started getting hungry. So I asked Leah when the pizza was getting here and she said a few minutes. Then I heard the door bell. I made my way though everyone and got to the door. I opened it and yelled
"AHHHH ITS A KIDNAPER!!!!"
Then I took another look and said "oops sorry it was just the pizza man. Sorry" I said to the guy. The guy looked shocked and scared.

Then I payed him and gave him a tip and I grabbed the pizza. Then I closed the door.

After everyone ate people were getting tired. Well it was kinda two in the morning. Since it was a sleepover people slept over. Then everyone went to sleep. I was wearing my nice pajamas that explains how much I love Starbucks. (Picture above)

- one hour later-

I woke up I got some water and went back to my sleeping bag. When I heard something or someone at the door.  I woke up Leah and one of my other friends Brian. We got up and went to the door. We all had something in are hand to defend are selves.

"Ready guys here they come", I whispered.

Then the door opened. When we say someone. We had are weapons up about to hit. But the guys had a gun. Man he won.

"Drop your weapons and put your hands up".
We did what the man said and put them down.
"Why should we though it's three against one." I said.
"Shut your mouth missy and I have a partner he's in the car."
"Now give me your names and follow me."
"Why do you want are names", said Leah.
"Because I like calling people by there name I'm not rude", he said.
"Oh and my name is Ted my criminal partner is named Julian." "Now come with me."
"Well my name is Jessica, her name is Leah and she is my best friend and this is Brian my other best friend", I said.

We did as he said and followed him to the car Ted he didn't know other people were here which is good because I don't want anyone else kidnapped.

"JULIAN OPEN THE DOOR", he yelled.  My friends and I stared quietly and just got in the car.
"Man so hard to get good help theses days", Ted said.

I knew my sister was at the beach and probably wouldn't see my text but I have to try. The guys started to drive and I got out my phone and started texting my sister. I was texting her like crazy.

Me: hey Kiana plz help!!!! Leah, Brian, and I are getting kidnapped!!!! Plz come!! Fast
Me: I know you may not see this but I have to try.
Me: just plz pick up.😭
Me: we are still in Leah's alley.
Me: HELP ME!!!!
Me: Plz this might be the last time I get to talk to you so here it goes.
Me: I love you sis you have been the best sister ever. You took care of me and everything I don't know what I would do with out you!!! I love you sis. In case I don't make it I want you to know it. Good-bye. 😭😭✌️.

I kept texting and texting, but it was hope less. "Guys", I said to my friends. "Just so you know you will always be my best friends and I love you guys". "I love you guys too", said Leah.

"Man I thought my life was going to be different I thought I was going to be a aunt one day, but I guess not. Man I'm never gonna get married and have children." I said.

"And who are you going to marry and have children with", said Brian.
"Shut up, I love you and that's not important right now", I said punching his arm.
Then I hugged both of them. "If I die tonight at least I will die knowing I am loved and cared for and with you guys", said leah.
"I never thought my life would end here I thought I was going to go to college, but I guess not." Said Brian.
