Chapter 20:

The day after the party

AT MERCED BUILDING...

"I need to talked to felia about ella's matter michael as soon as possible!"monsieur said in a depressed looked..

"How?"michael asked..

"I don't know!Im still thinking!" he said in a sad tone..

"Do you still have feelings for her. Nathan?Sabihin mo nga ang totoo?should i still asked you about this(A smile formed on his face) since it's so obvious!michael said out of a sudden. Napailing nalang si nathan sa sinabi nito.

A smile formed on his face. He said directly looking at him!

"You already know the answer michael. I've never love anyone more than felia. I even dreamed we could have a happy family together. But i did what??!" he said feeling heavy holding his chest..

"I left her without knowing i will have a child with her!"monsieur tears are now flowing on his face. He sobbed and wiped it out using the handkerchief that michael handed to him.

"Maybe she can understand what happened before,the choice you made is really hard nathan.If only you can talk to felia properly. Maybe you can have a chance to explain yourself to her about your reason why you have to leave her!" michael said seriously looking on nathan.

"Wala na!I don't think she can forgive me!but i won't give up,I will do everything to correct the mistakes i made in the past.But isn't this good too michael?" she said smiling fakely..

"I become now successful. I can give all the things she need or wants..and (he paused and sighed before saying this).. She can live like a princess. I think that's the only good thing i can give to her.. Material things huh?" he fakely smile and tears uncontrollably dropped on his face.He hold the back of the chair for support...

"Im a bad person michael. I don't think i deserve them. Do i?"he asked in despair.Michael just gave him an assurance smile and nod.

"Just brace yourself nathan. That's why you had given a chance to know the truth. It's the right to correct everything!" he said looking at him.Napabuntong hininga nalang si monsieur and he just looked at the glass window.

"Sana nga!Because i really can't forgive myself knowing i became useless especially when felia needed me the most on her side when she gave birth to our daughter." he said seriously still looking outside..michael just listened to him

"That's why no matter what it takes, i need to talk to felia properly!" monsieur said sighing. Monsieur move on the table, pour the glass of whisky and drank all the content of the glass.

Knockk knoockk knockk..

"Come in!" he said loudly.

The old lady in a business suits entered the room..

"Sir this are now the document given by Mr. Javier!" she said as she immediately place the document on the table. She bow her heads and leave immediately. She was monsieur secretary..

Nakunot nalang si michael..

"What is it?" he asked..

"This are the deed of sale of a medium size island i just bought from mr. Javier" biglang napangiti si mosieur ng makita ang mga nilalaman noon..
