Chapter two

It was close to 7:00 so I ran upstairs and put on some make up not to much though I only wore it to look decent I ran to Courtney's and my closet I picked out some blue jeans a pair of white vans and a T-shirt. Courtney and I shared a room like we did in our foster house.

~FLASHBACK~

Woman: Courtney you are being adopted.

Courtney: can Lucy come to?

Woman: no they only wanted you.

Courtney: but Lucy's my sister.

Woman: I know but they only came for you.

Courtney: I don't want to go if Lucy's not coming!

Me: don't worry court we will see each other again someday.

Courtney: but your my sister and I love you.

Me: I love you to court but this is a big deal.

My eyes began to water.

Courtney: o-ok b-but ill m-miss you.

She said sobbing.

Me:me too.

She was walking out the door with her suitcase and her last words where.

Courtney: ill come back for you, I promise.

I gave her a warm smile and she walked away crying.

~FLASHBACK OVER~

I shook off those sad thoughts and straightened my hair. It was seven I walked outside and hopped in the car with Courtney and we drove to the mall and went inside.

"You still have that old dinky flip phone don't you?" asked Courtney.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"Well as my treat tonight I'm buying you a touch screen phone." She said excitedly.

"But what about my pictures and stuff?" I asked. I don't like change.

"We can transfer them."

"Okay." we walked into the store and stood at the counter and this boy with brown curls and green eyes came out.

"May I help you ladies?" he said with a cheeky smile.

"You can help my best friend, Lucy I'm going to go look at the limited editions cell phone cases on the other side of the mall. k? k." She said skipping.

"I don't know what to do!" I exclaimed.

"The nice boy will help you." She said with a smile and ran out of the store.

"Uh I need a touch screen phone." I said I could feel myself blushing.

"Okay what color?" he said laughing like I was a little kid.

"Uh white?" I said more of a question.

"Okay would you like to keep the number you have now? or get a new one?" he asked trying to talk as slowly as possible I guess he could see the nervousness.

"Uh I'll keep the one I have now." I said.

"Okay." he activated my phone and gave it to me with a little card.

"This has all of your contacts and photos on it." He said smiling.

"Thank you uh Harry?" I looked at his name tag.

"No problem love." He said with a smile. Love? that was new. As I turned around it has been about a half an hour for him to set up my phone and Courtney was standing behind me.

"So how'd it go?" she asked with a smile.

"Why did you leave me? that was so weird." I

Said.

"How?" she asked.

"Well there was something about him I don't know he was really kind not like usual men." I guess Courtney saw me looking down.

"You like him?" she asked grinning.

"No." I said

"Well lets go see a movie at midnight." She said.

"Okay." I said I couldn't fight with this girl. It was almost midnight and we where waking out of the mall to drive to the theatre. As we walked out we saw that cell phone place it was closed and the doors where closed and the lights where out. I didn't think nothing of it we walked to the movies and got tickets and popcorn and sat down I looked and a couple of seats away was that boy.... Harry?
