Eren's messed up life (Levi x Eren)

"Selfish brat"

~ Eren's POV ~

I move my heavy arms feeling something soft beneath me and hesitant to open my eye's but how much I wish I hadn't. I opened them only to see a bright white blinding light and quickly re-close them. There's an irritating beeping noise along with sound's of something being picked up and put down.

"I see you're awake Mr. Jaeger" Now I'm scared. I hear the beeping noise get faster with each breath I take and footsteps walking up beside me. "Calm down Mr. Jaeger you're in hospital after a car accident but you'll be fine"

My eye's shot open right away seeing a blonde haired man writing something on a piece of paper beside me.

"No, no I need to go" I stuttered out and tried standing up only for him to put the paper's down and push me back down on the bed by my shoulders.

"I'm sorry Mr. Jaeger but you'll have to wait for the release form to be handed out"

"I can't I-I can't afford this, I-I don't hav-"

"Don't worry Mr. Jaeger your hospital bill has already been paid for"

"Pardon?" But as I asked Levi entered the room with two bottles of water in his hand's "Levi?"

Levi jerked his head in my direction in shock. "You're awake?" 

I ignored his question and turned back to the doctor. "When can I go?"

"I'll go and see, we're just waiting on an x-ray"

"Thank you" And with that he exited the room.

I looked over at Levi as he scraped a chair beside my bed and handed me a bottle of water which I took gratefully.

"Thank's but you didn't-" 

He quickly cut me off. "You don't have any parents do you? You lied" I looked away in shock as he carried on "Is that really your house" I nod "How long have you lived there for?" I turn to his pitiful face and sighed.

"Three - four year's I think" I say truthfully.

"What!" He snap's making me flinch "Sorry but don't you have another home to go to?"

"My Grandpa died when I was six and my parent's didn't have any siblings, not that I know of anyway..."

"You know you can't stay there right?"

"Hu? Yes I can I've managed three year's!" I shout defensively.

"It's not healthy!" He snapped back.

"And what do you care!" I screamed in his fast, fist's balled up in the sheets, eyes burning holes into him "You're just doing this out'a pity and I don't need it!"

"I've paid no end of money for this and that's what you have to say!" He says raising his voice, hands up dramatically in the air "You're so ungrateful!"

"I never asked for you to do it" I said intone, eyes watering with my sore throat.

"I've saved your life over and over again and this is how you repay me" He hissed through gritted teeth, his eyes glaring right into my soul.

"No the fact is I can't repay you so you shouldn't have bothered saving me" I inform him, snorting at some spoken words and waiting for his reply. 

Oh his reply...

"Yes you're right I should've just left a selfish brat, like you, die!" Ouch!
