Chapter 2

Kat was watching T.V. cuddled up to Gavin when her phone started to ring. She picked it up noticing it was Geoff's wife,Griffon.

"Hello?"

Griffon's voice was shaky,her words broken.

"Please..come to the hospital... now." She cried.

"Griffon what the hell happened are you okay?" Kat stood up and gave Gavin a look of concern and worry.

"Pleas..hurry."

"Yes..I'll be there in a few."

Kat grabbed Gavin's wrist and pulled him from the couch and grabbed her keys.

"Hey hey.."

"Griffons at the hospital...something happened." Kat spoke up as she pulled out of the driveway.

"What?"

"I don't know...she was crying...and I couldn't understand her."

"I'll call Ray and Michael." Gavin pulled his phone from his pocket and dialed the number.

Kat pulled up in a spot and ran into the hospital. She slammed her hands down on the desk asking where Griffon was.

"Room 343." The two ran down to the elevator and clicked the third floor. Griffon stood with blood on her white T-shirt.

"Griffon...you're covered in blood...where's Millie...and Geoff?" Gavin felt a lump in his throat as he pictured what happened.

Griffon ran over and hugged Kat,sobbing into her shoulder.

"It's Geoff and Millie...they..they." Griffon stuttered as she sobbed.

"Griffon..its alright." Gavin cooed.

Kat released Griffon and opened the door to see Geoff. He was covered in scratches and cuts. Her eyes widened as she saw little Millie laying with a broken leg and her cheek scratched and bruised. Geoff's eyes opened and he coughed.

"K-Kat?" He choked.

"Geoff... what the hell happened."

Geoff looked over at Millie and tears rolled down his cheeks.

"It's my fault... she's like this because of my stupid mistake."

"Geoff it's not your fault.. its no ones fault."

"I can't live with myself knowing I'm the one who hurt her."

Geoff laid back and told Kat what had happened. It was a nasty car accident. Geoff had a few broken and cracked ribs along with a broken ankle. Millie only had a few scratched and a broken leg. Geoff fell asleep and Kat kissed his cheek. She did the same for Millie. She walked out and hugged Gavin before she started crying.

"He did whatever he did to protect Millie." She spoke up.

She touched her stomach and sobbed. Griffon also hugged her and kissed her cheek.

The next week~~

Geoff and Kat sat in room playing Xbox with Millie. All three played Minecraft and Millie sat and giggled when Geoff died or Kat killed him. Griffon took a few pictures to remember the moment. Millie somehow won the small game and she smiled happily and giggled.

"Looks like ya won Millie." Kat chuckled.

"She sure did."

After a few more months Geoff and Millie were up and walking around. Geoff came back to work and sat in his chair with the boot on his foot and crutches beside his desk. Another podcast had to be recorded. Kat was called in with,Gavin and Michael. Kat sat down in between of Michael and Gavin and sighed. After talking for awhile they brought the subject of a women carrying a baby. Kat clutched her side and the memories.

"Burnie?"

"Yeah?"

"Could we change the subject?"

"Sure is there a problem with the subject."

Kat sighed. "Yes...there is...please can we talk about something else?"

"What's wrong love?"

"I don't wanna talk about it."

"What's wrong kitten?" Gavin asked again.

"I was pregnant once..with a eight month boy...and I had a miscarriage and lost the unborn child." She gripped her ribs and looked away from Burnie.

"Oh my god...I'm so sorry Kat." Burnie apologized.

"Shit happens Burnie."

"Still but damn." He looked at his computer and frowned

"And the other thing is....I can't have children now because of one miscarriage."

Gavin hugged Kat and kissed her forehead. Michael petted her hair.

The next week Kat sat and played with Gavin's hair as he rested his legs on the end of the couch and his head in her lap. She looked down at him and smiled. Gavin sighed and blew a piece of hair from his face,smiling back up at Kat. Kat closed her eyes as she fell asleep with Gavin on the small couch. Ray walked in a few hours later and chuckled at the two. Geoff walked in behind him and also chuckled. Seeing the two Geoff took a few pictures and sent them to Griffon. He got back a text saying how good they were for each other. Kat head fell forward and she woke up as Ray attempted to draw a mustache on her face.

"Shit.." Ray mumbled.

"Huh...Ray?" She stretched.

She bumped Gavin and his eyes opened and focused on Kat. He propped up on his hands and yawned. Kat kissed the top of his nose and fiddled with the collar of his shirt. She fixed his shirt and stroked his cheek. As Gavin sat up and stood up and he flinched at the scratches on his body.

"You alright,babe?" Kat looked slightly concerned.

"My back hurts..that all."

Kat smirked and kissed his cheek. "My bad.." She whispered.

"Alright..time for Versus!" Geoff handed Gavin and Kat a guitar from guitar hero and caused Kat to chuckle and smirk.

She wrapped the strap around her shoulder and looked at Gavin. Ryan recorded the Kat smirking and she shook her head. Her eyes flashed and the game began. They played Animal I have Become by Three Days Grace both players on hard. Kat fingers strummed and hit each note over and over. Kat's score was almost double to Gavin's and she got a perfect score. She pulled off the guitar and sat it down and kissed his cheek. Gavin came from behind and wrapped the belt around her waist. She jumped and Ryan chuckled at the two lovebirds. Kat sat and Ray handed her a beer. She opened the can and it sprayed her with the liquid that it contained. Kat got up and walked to bathroom and dried herself off. She shook her hair and flipped her head up and ran her hands through it. She had an idea and walked to the kitchen. She got a jar of peanut butter and smeared it on her hands. She came in with her hands over mouth and she looked upset. Gavin hugged her and told Ryan to record on the camera. Ray hugged her and she smeared the sticky substance on his face. She laughed and ran around the office laughing. Gavin followed the two and Kat was pinned down and she pushed him off. Geoff stood laughing like a maniac. Ray washed his face and splashed the water on Gavin. He yelped and dropped the camera.
