Joey stood there surprised, for I have never cried in front of him before. He leans over to Blaze, who is now by my side, and says "I didn't believe you before, but now I do." Blaze is patting my back and when he touches the mark the pain went away for some reason.

I look up at Joey panting, and said, "Tell....me, what....you did." He looked at Blaze again then said, "Should I tell her?" Blaze just looked up without a sound, I couldn't see his face but I think it was the "you have to" face. Joey said, "Okay, I will tell her but she won't like what I tell her,"

He sits down next to me and starts, "Well yesterday I was going to your cave to visit you, when he comes running from the bushes frantic. He was telling me that you were crying and hurt. I didn't believe him, of course, b/c I thought you never cried. Then he makes me follow him and you are on the forest floor, out cold."

He kept going, "He told me that he tried to drag you to the cave, but he wasn't strong enough." He sighed and kinda blushed "So I picked you up and brought you to the cave, settled you down. As I tried to leave, Blaze stopped me and asked me to stay Just in case something else happened."

I looked up, he seems weird as he tells this story. "And it was a good thing to, in the middle of the night he changed into this," He motioned towards Blaze and I asked, "Blaze, did you know how this happened?" He looked up slowly and he was blushing. "I take that as a yes." I look back at Joey and say. "You can continue,"

"Well," He starts, "He was so frantic, but I don't know why b/c I can't understand him anymore. So I told him to go back to sleep, and that we will tell you later.... Then you woke up in battle mode and attacked him."

Realizing that I never apologized I say, "Oh sorry about that Blaze," He leans over and hugs me, I sat there  unable to move because he had my arms pinned down. I think that was an act of forgiveness.

Soon his touch started to burn, "Umm, Blaze you are starting to burn me...." He jumped back and looked at his arms, sad and confused. " It's okay, it didn't burn that much, not anything like the mark...." Joey looks at me concerned then said, "Speaking of which what is up with that Kat? I have never seen anything that can make you cry, Until now at least...."

I thought about that for a moment then replied, "Remember when I told you that legend of a cave that curses you to die," He nodded, "Yeah...." I looked at Blaze then back at Joey. "Well, welcome to Firestone cave" and I motioned to, well everywhere.

"WAIT! WHAT! DOES THAT MEAN I AM GOING TO DIE?!?" Joey is everywhere, frantic. "Joey, calm down, I have lived here for three months and nothing major has happened to me." He calms down and asks, "Honest?" I pat his shoulder, "On my honor," I say proudly. "This cave is cursing me for using it as a home."

I go outside and look up at the sky and see it is almost noon, "OH! I am late for training!" With that I grabbed my bag and ran towards Joe's house, and yell, "Stay here, and don't kill each other! I will be back with dinner."

After training I went hunting, which I have gotten better at, then went to the cave with a bird and a couple fish. I get close to the cave and I hear Joey yelling. I throw everything except my sword into the hollowed tree, and I run battle ready.
