chp 23 HE COULD NEVER LET ME FALL

When I woke up the next day Neal was not in the room. I thought to myself that he would be downstairs having breakfast with my famliy. I got fresh and went downstairs. Neal was not there.

" where's Neal ? " I asked

" he's gone home to get ready and will reach the church with his family " ma said.

" oh okay " I said.

" your dress is here Maya " dad said

" oh yes ! Thank god " I said. I had ordered my dress and I was expecting it after Isaac's wedding but then it was here today !!

" go get ready we have to leave " ma said

" okay give me an hour " I said and went upstairs with my coffee.

I took a shower. I was wearing a blue gown. It was satin material and it was all flowing. I wore my high black heels. Did my hair. I was going to leave my hair open and do my make up bright. I was ready in an hour. I went downstairs and saw that ma dad were already ready.

" where is Issac ? " I asked

" as usual locked in a room" ma said.

Issac has this thing , this fear before taking a important step in his life. I remember the time he had his first day of job. He had locked himself in the room and after I go in and give him a positive speech he would come out. He never gave me credits for that but then i know it is cause of me.

" Issac " I said after knocking on his door.

" come in" he said and I went inside. I sat next to him in the bed.

" scared ? "

" yes "

" even I am "

" why are you scared ? I am the one who is getting married ! "

" nah ! I'm scared about me falling in front of people "

" why ? "

" I'm wearing heels na " I said and he laughed

" will I be the perfect husband ? "

" yes ! Don't worry about it. You are marrying the love of your life. Till the time she is with you nothing can go wrong " I said

" thank you bee " he said and hugged me. We both came out and sat in the car. We reached the church. Ailes and max were already there.

" you look fab " max said

" everything okay " ailes asked and I nodded.

After almost 15 mins Sara and her family were here. Sara was looking gorgeous in her white gown.

" where is Neal ? " I asked max

" here " Neal said. He reached on time.

" lets go in " he said and asked for my hand. He was entering church. I was happy.

" yes sure " I said.

" your looking beautiful may' " he whispered it down my ear.

" thank you buttface " I said

We went inside the church and I was the bridesmaid as Sara did not have any siblings.

The wedding was successful and beautiful. Sara and Issac were going to leave from the reception for their honeymoon.

It was almost 4 in the evening and the reception was going to start at 6. We all went back home. Neal came with me to my place and he was going to get ready at my place. Well Neal was playing with Lee downstairs I was taking a small nap.
I woke up at 6 as usual late. When I woke up I saw Neal sleeping next to me. I got up and went in the washroom to get fresh and here he was again telling I wanna pee. He went in for shower and I was getting ready out side. I was wearing a white small skirt and blur floral printed top. Yes of course with my blue heels. Here again I was leaving my hair open.
He came out and wore his tuxedo ! He was looking amazing. I was doing my eye makeup when he came and pushed me.

" what the hell " I asked

" I wanna fix my bow " he said

There was only one mirror in my room and we were fighting for it.

" get lost " I said and pushed him back. This kept going on for 15 mins. At the end we both fell on the floor. We started laughing like monkeys in a zoo. We were late ! Everyone was ready and they had already left. Ailes and max were going to come with us as they were late too.

We all reached the farm house at 7 30 in the evening. As soon as we came in Sara came and hugged me.

" you made it look fabulous " she said

" I'm glad you loved it " I said

Everyone was happy. We did the cake cutting ceremony and everyone started wishing Issac and Sara. We four were sitting on a table. Some couples were dancing on the dance floor. Ma called me for some work and I got. As I was walking towards ma my ankle twirled and I was going to fall but then Neal caught me. I got up and hugged him.

" thank you " i said

" I'll never let you fall " he said. I got a step away from him. What he said made me think about me falling for him. I wanted him so badly but then just because for our friendship I did not tell him. I was keeping this secret with me and within me.

I went to ma and did what she asked to do. I went back to the table.

" will you have a dance with me butthead ? " Neal asked.

" yes buttface " I said.

We went to the dance floor. He caught me tightly from my waist. Pulled me a bit close to him. My arms were around his neck and we were slowly moving .

" thank you for yesterday " he said

" for what ? " I asked

" for making me realise that I was somewhere wrong " he said

" what are bestfriends for ? " I asked

" I love you butthead " he said

" I love you too buttface " I said .

After having dance with Neal we had our dinner. Everything was amazing .
Almost everyone had left. Sara and Issac also left as they had a flight to catch. We did our final payment to the place owners and we left. As today was Saturday it was the ritual night !!
We came back home and went upstair I hugged ma and dad and said good night to them. I changed and came out. I saw Neal had already slept. I got under the quilt and he pulled me closer and we slept.
