Chapter 13

( Jc's P.O.V )

After spending what seemed like all day out and about with mom i finally got home to relax and finish editing my new vlogging video. I rushed up the stairs to my room and shut the door behind me before sitting down at my computer with my phone next to it. I feel like i havent done a not so daily vlog in a while and i have been getting grief from my clouds. But i know they are just doing it to get me to put up more videos so they can really get to see a glimpse into my life. 

My video was just about done before my attention was turned the the ringing phone on my desk top. I quickly grab it after seen the beautiful name that came up, Katie. I anwser it before putting it up to my ear and start to engadge in conversation.

"Hey beautiful," I say

"Hi," she answered a little to sharply. 

I brush it off not thinking much about it before continuing. "So whats up?"

"Im just in the area and i wanted to know if i can come over, or do something. I dont really care what."

A big grin came to my face as I thought of seeing her again. "Um, ya sure, sounds good. And i guess we can decide what to do when you get here."

"ok. Bye" she said quickly before hanging up without letting my say good-bye.

I placed my phone back on the computer desk before heading straight to my closet to change into something a little nicer then the sweats i had on earlier. I managed to find a a pair of tighter fitting jeans and my favorite pink sweater shirt. as i walk over to the table with all my hats on it i managed to find a dark blue beanie that just suited the outfit perfectly. I grab the smell bottle of my cologne before spraying it in the air and walking through it.  On my way down the stairs i stop quickly into the bathroom making sure that everything is in check before brushing my teeth and heading downstair to sit on the coach only to wait for Katie.

Within about 5 minutes there was a knock at the door which had to be her. Wishbone ran up beside me barking to let me know there was someone at the door, not that i wasnt already aware.

"Who is it bud, whose there bud." i said in a babish tone only to excited him more causing his barks to increase. "what a great guard dog you are," i said bending down to pick him up before anwsering the door. 

My eyes met hers and i realized the look of disgust that was on her face before she opened her mouth to speak "What is that thing." 

I looked at her confused before I saw her gaze fall to my bud. "What wishbone? He's my bud, aint't he cute?" i say hoping she was kidding.

"Um, no not really. Mind putting it away you know out of my sight." she says before taking a step inside.

you have got to be kidding me. Did she really just say that about him. what?

"um sure i guess," i say before turning around to walk to the door to let him outside.

When i return she is sitting on the couch waiting for me to return. 

"What do you want to do?" she says without making eye contact with me.

" Um it's nice outside how about a walk around the park?" i say shyly before she finally looks at me.

"That sounds pretty dumb, besides i don't want to walk. Why not a movie?" she says before walking to the front door as i follow her. 

She turns to face me when we reach the door. "Youre not wearing that are you?" She said pinching the fabric of my shirt between her fingers.

"Why whats wrong with it?" i say surprised that she even asked me that.

"Well first off pink is deffinatly not your color, and secondly I dont want you to look almost as femine as i do," she said as my mouth formed an "O" shape.

"fine i'll change..." i say as i turn to walk away before being interupted.

She walked over to me and got on her tippy toes. I leaned in and closed my eyes hoping she was going to kiss me. Only to be put down as she grabbed my beanie off the top of my head. 

 " take the beanie off, we live in Texas for gods sake " she said throwing it onto the couch.

I looked at her with my hazel brown eyes as hers stared into mine, " no more beanies okay " she said fixing my hair and kissing my cheek before i walked upstairs to change.

When i got back to Katie, I reached for her hand as she pulled it away just from my reach and exited out the door infront of me.
