Now, with no sorts of communication except my laptop, I was completely on my own. Damn you, phone!
All of the drama in my life caused me to rethink my decision. I was being a bit irrational and jumping to conclusions. It was a long debate in my head- the fact that I should probably take it slow and talk to him about this and the other thing being the fact that I wanted to rip his hair off and just betray his trust or something.
The exact way he broke mine.
"I don't even know what to do," I groaned, voicing out my thoughts out loud and running a hand down my face.
I took a deep breath in and looked at the mirror with my face on, staring right back at me. "This isn't me. I'm not one to be violent or stupid for anything..."
Great, this was just making my life way harder.
"Why am I being like this? No, no, no, no, no..." I ranted on and on to myself silently screaming in my head. Sure, I hated him for doing just releasing those videos out despite me telling him not to, but maybe I should go slow. Talk to him. Figure out why he did what he did.
And if his answer in any way disappoints me, off goes his head. Luckily for me, I just remembered that my laptop was there for me.
"Quick, quick, quick," I muttered to myself as it took it's own time to turn on. Then, once it was finally on- I hurriedly typed in my password.
In no time, I was sprawled across the king-sized bed in my room searching up for where Ryder's been staying for the past few days. Honestly, I wasn't expecting many but Hallelujah! There were quite a few results.
Never took notice of the amount of time someone spent on just stalking him.
In case you've forgot, you're stalking him as well.
Shut up, inner self?!
In some ways, it did after all make me feel better that I wasn't the only lunatic in the world wasting my time stalking him. By the amount of results I'm getting for his address, it's a surprise he doesn't get followed by the paparazzi in school.
Well, what am I forgetting? Oh yeah, even if they did end up getting to him, I'd probably be in the library studying for the next test or in the dance room (Mr. Roger allows me to use) practicing my dance choreography.
Oops?
By the time I was done, I had his address and was all ready to go. Time to get ready for this. Let's do this!
I almost face-palmed when I realized that I was already ready due to my plan earlier on going out for a stroll. Great. Just effing great.
What's going on with me? Have I officially gone mental?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hi, I'm here to meet Mr. Ryder Hart. I'm a very close friend-"
"He doesn't take anyone in without an appointment," he smoothly cut me off, very rudely, may I add.
"Excuse me, but if you'd-"
"Sorry ma'am, but he's got a tight schedule," the security guard cut me off yet again. This buff guy was so infuriating! And intimidating.
"Would at least talk-"
"Sorry, ma'am," his voice had a harsh tone to it and I could already tell that he was seconds away from calling a whole other bunch of strong-looking security guards like him to just get me out of here.
Stupid Ryder. Why would he put in a security guard right outside his door?! Way to go easy on him. Seriously like, if this guy wanted to be spared by me, he was going to have to come out this very instant and get me in! This is all his fault anyways!
"The door's there," he pointed at the exit. I narrowed my eyes at him and was about to get out and probably blow my mind off with curse words, but thankfully for him and for me. The one and only, Ryder stepped out of his door talking on his phone casually with a suit on and his sunglasses; he looked so good,
Stop drooling, Kylie!
I was too busy scolding myself when his gaze averted to mine and he dropped his phone out of his hand- and no, not the iPhone. A way more expensive one!- and his jaw dropped down to the ground along with it upon seeing me there.
Look at me, with practically no phone because of this mouth-gaping idiot standing in front of me and his amazing new one. I swear to god, I officially hate my life.
"What are you doing here?" he finally got out and shut his mouth, realizing how much of an idiot he must be looking like. I couldn't help but disagree- he's an idiot, jaw dropped open or not.
"You've got some explaining to do," I tapped my foot impatiently on the concrete below me.
"For what?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion, an adorable look on his face.
Okay, I need special treatment. I'm going crazy.
"Are you sure this is the question you want to ask me right now?" I glared at him.
"But I don't even-"
"Shut it," I ordered. "Now are we going to go in, or are you going to let me die because of this monstrous sun that threatens my life at this very moment while you stand in all this glory pretending as if you don't know what's going on?"
He chuckled lightly. "To this day, Kylie," he laughed a bit more,"To this day, you've never failed to humor me."
"Trust me, you're going to regret ever laying your filthy hands on my phone from this very instant," I shook my head at him, my glare still in tact.
"I still don't know what's going on-"
"Cut the crap out and let me in already!" I threw my hands up in frustration.
"Right," he scratched the back of his head adorably, before clearing his thoughts, "I mean get in." He shook his head furiously as if he didn't mean for it to come out like that. "What I-What I meant was please come in."
I huffed, crossing my hands over my chest, still furious while he led me into his mansion- not before sending a sickeningly, sweet smile to the security guard.
No exaggeration intended but this was a freaking mansion! I was practically gawking at this beautiful and large house filled with expensive chandeliers and lavish sofas surrounding just the living room.
"No offense to you, but you look like you're going to faint from just the size of this house," Ryder commented. I slapped the back of his head.
"Please don't tell me you live in here all alone," I said, envious of all of this. How come I'd never seen anything like it?
"Oh no. I don't think I could even if I was given the chance. My parents left to work early today," he explained.
"Oh."
"Yeah," he sighed, "About that talk you wanted to have with me..."
"Oh, yes, Ryder. I'm very mad at you," I stated, all the anger coming back at me. "You're lucky I didn't go to some extents..."
"Just tell me what I did," he said, shaking his head as he looked at my angry expression. I held my hand out as in to get his phone.
He hesitantly looked at my hands for a few seconds before placing the phone in it. I searched up my name and held it out for me to read.
That was when he realized what it was and his eyes widened uncontrollably.
Well, then. I need some answers.
