It's the morning that you and Patrick leave for another tour. You've decided to go with him this time, even though you know it'll be a challenge, but it's better than being away from him for what seems like forever. You two grab your suitcases and head for the door. You load your suitcases into the vehicle and head to the airport. Once the two of you get there, you check your bags and wait for them to board your plane.
"Are you excited?" Patrick asks as he holds your hand.
"More like nervous," you reply, squeezing his hand.
"Why?" Patrick asks as he gets a confusing look on his face.
"I feel like I'll be in the way," you admit.
"Baby, stop it. You will not be in the way! You could never be!" he replies as he kisses you.
Soon after, they call your numbers and you board your plane. It's your first time flying and Patrick knows that. He can see the fear in your face, even though you try and hide it as best you can.
"It's going to be ok," he says to you as you two take your seats.
"I know," you reply as you grab his hand and hold onto it tightly.
He looks at you and smiles, and you can see it in his eyes that everything will be ok. Your plane takes off and you grip Patrick's hand even tighter than before.
"See? That wasn't so bad," Patrick says as the light comes on for you to take your seat belts off.
"I guess," you say, still gripping his hand in fear.
The ride wasn't as bad as you had perceived. A little turbulence, but that's all. Once your plane lands, you and Patrick go to the taxi he called for, your legs still wobbly. Shortly after, you arrive at your hotel.
"Thank god," you say as you flop onto the bed.
"Happy to be back on land?" Patrick asks as he laughs.
"More than you'll ever know," you reply as you get up.
"You do know that you have to fly back, right?" he asks.
"Baby, don't remind me," you say as you kiss him.
Patrick laughs as he grabs his phone out of his pocket as it rings.
"Hello?" Patrick says.
"Hey buddy!" Andy replies.
"Oh, hey! You at the hotel yet?" Patrick asks.
"Yeah, What room number are you?" Andy asks.
"671," Patrick replies as the two of you hear a knock at the door about two seconds later.
He motions to you to open it. Once you do, Andy is standing there.
"Hey (Y/N)! I didn't know you were coming!" Andy says as he throws his arms around you.
You return the hug as you laugh.
"It's great to see you again," you say to Andy as you close the door behind him.
"Hey Trick!" Andy says as he hugs Patrick.
"Hey, what's up man?" Patrick asks.
"Just got here like 20 minutes ago," Andy replies as you sit on the couch and let the two of them talk.
"Same here," Patrick replies. "Are Pete and Joe here yet?"
"I think Joe is, and seriously? You expect Pete to be on time?" Andy asks as he flashes Patrick a serious look.
You let out a giggle from the couch and Patrick turns his head and smiles at you.
"So true," you say quietly, but loud enough for them to hear you.
