You and Daryl began talking for a while. Learnig interests and exchanging stories of your recent adventures. Daryl was so interesting compared to you. Bold and daring. He was also very polite and sympothetic. His eyes lightened and darkened at each fluctuation in tone. From what you has learned he had a rough start to life, which slightly saddened you for some reason or another.  He just seemed so pure.  So genuine.
"So your camp is just a quarter mile down?" You ask with a smile.
"Ya. My camp is really just 2 tents, a lawn chair and a place to put my motorcycle" He glowed.
"A motorcycle? Sounds kinda dangerous." Even if you weren't very interested in a subject as long as someone was passionate about it, you were always there to listen.
He chuckled. "Well I am the one to take chances. Jump at the oppurtunity."
Everytime he smiled his eyes would squint slightly. He was so laidback but so intense. So aware of everything around him.
You could hear light moans and groans coming from behind you. He swiftly turned around and signaled you to stay close behind him. He advanced a few steps and aimed at his target. His eye concentrated in the scope. The silent arrow peirced the lifeless creature's skull and it fell to the ground. He huffed. Apparently uncomfortable with killing the walkers. He knew he had to.
Even though he had only known you for a couple hours, he was trying to protect you and make sure you were comfortable. Asking if you needed a rest every so often. He was caring, intentitive to every sigh and moan. This was a friend. Not just one of your friends you'd say hi to at the grocery store, but a friend who'd be willing to go to the store with you. A true friend. As you approached his small camp, you noticed something rustling in one of his tents. The one farthest from his bike. The rustling stooped. Then the tent started to unzip slowly.

It took me a while to actually write this. I'm pretty proud of this chapter. I can't wait to write the next one! New updates tomorrow I promise.
