Four's POV

" You, me, Uriah, Chris, Will,Lynn,Mar,and everyone else are better of with out her!" Zeke yells at me while pacing around my living room. Right now my head is spinning from last night, all I remember is going out, to drink Tris out of my mind with Caleb. I woke up on the floor of a bar and when i got home i found some girls underwear in the pocket of my shorts. I'm pretty sure i did something last night that i'm going to regret.

"What did you do Zeke?" I ask him while still in the hungover stage.

"She broke the ZT pact!" he shouts, i'm pretty sure i've never seen him this angry.

" Zeke please stop yelling my head.." I start to say but imediantly clutch my head because the pain just gets stronger with every word i speak.

He looks at me, " Why are you not more mad?"

" I love her" I say in a gasp "But she doesn't love me"

He looks at me like i'm the dumbest person on the planet and says " I've never seen her ever look at anyone the way she looks at you"

"That's not good enough " I sob "She doesn't love me "

He just comes and hugs me "Four it's okay" he coos.

"You know it's not!" I scream at him.

"Fuck it I'm calling Uri" he says and grabs his phone. "Uriah get your ass over here, number boy needs us!" he shouts and hangs up.

"She just doesn't want me to get hurt" I say more to myself then him.

"But all your doing is being hurt" he says and I know it's true.

"What if Mathews comes back?" I ask him.

"Dude she's been gone for over four months " he says like it's nothing.

"She can always come back" I say, worry obviously in my tone.

The door swings open and Uriah runs in "I got a bro call and Sir Uriah is here to save the day" he says while running around like he's flying. I place my head in my hands and shake it, this boy can change the mood and vibe faster than you can yell his name.

Which Zeke happened to yell. The boy stops and turns, looking at both of us and suddenly getting serious. "Oh yes" he says and sits down like a therapist. "My dearest brother and number boy what is the matter at hand"

"Tris" I say quietly.

"I knew that girl would be the death of us all" he say slowly and then jerks his head towards Zeke. "I heard a special pact was broken on this very day" he says.

While trying to control his emotions Zeke says "She just wouldn't let me help her" his voice cracking a bit as he continues "she promised me that I would always be able to help her."

"But that didn't happen in this case" Uriah says stating the obvious.

"She just kept saying she didn't want me to get hurt" Zeke says, tears starting to stream down his face.

The memory of that day flashes back to me, "She did the same to me" I said quietly.

"Four, she thinks she's alone despite all of us being here for her. She thinks that she's the only one that can bare the pain, she is so wrapped up in not wanting to hurt anyone that she doesn't see that that's all she's doing to us." I think that statement right there is the truest thing said by Uriah, not even joking.

"And Zeke, my brother you had to of known something like this would have happened. Tris isn't very good at keeping promises" He says and then scoffs "I should know from experience, she still hasn't given me my cake that she promised over six months ago"

I laugh at that, my heart filling with joy for a second before it fades back into the abyss of darkness. If Tris was here my heart would be filled to the rim with happiness and joy, actually it would be spilling over and streaming out like a volcano erupting. I miss her so much and now I know ill never get her back if I don't try, I need to try. I need her in my life, with out her id be no one. I would have absolutely no purpose on this Earth, she is the air I breath, the water I drink, the ground I stand on, she is my everything and I have never wanted anything more than I want her right now.

"I need to find her" I say with great determination.

"No you need to let her cool down, that's what you need to do" Uriah says.

"I can't" I say as a get up and I automatically fall back down, my head.

"And you need to get over that hangover" he says and I know he's right but I just can't let her go any longer without me.

"I am over my hangover" I say as I close my eyes for a brief moment before opening them.

"Oh really " he says like my mom would have. Oh god, if my mom had seen me like this I would have been six feet under in less than 6.5 seconds.

"The longer I wait the farther she gets away from me" I say with a weak attempt to get up again, but only ending up in the same spot as I started.

"Four stop" Uriah says, getting up and moving towards me. "You can't go find her like this, she probably went to one of the girls house"

"Not Christina's" Zeke says and we look at him, "when I went to look for her she had ran away from Christina's house" he explains.

"Why?" I ask while my head runs ramped with questions.

"She showed her a picture of you on the floor in the bar" he says.

My heart falls, I don't want her to see that part of me. That's not who I really am.

"Is that why she ran?" I ask him, bracing myself for the answer.

"No she ran because of what Christina said and guess what? "

"She didn't want to hurt her"
