Fourth's Legacy

Chapter Four

 Three years later.

"It's kind of sad that the next time we might see Garra is if he's dead." Sakura whispered to Granny Chiyo. "Naruto thinks of Garra as family, since they both are Jinjuriki." 

Kakashi bopped Sakura's head, "Don't think that way Sakura." The three looked over to Naruto and Sasuke who seemed to be having a one sided conversation. Naruto talking animatedly, waving his hands in gesture while Sasuke stared blankly at him. 

"Look at them, they've grown so much." Sakura sighed, those two were her best friends.

Kakashi gave Sakura a pat on the shoulder, "So have you." He then waved his hands grabbing everyone's attention. "We will meet up with Team Gai and Pakkun soon. Until then we will continue our journey to find Garra."

Sakura thought for a moment, "We should split up, cover more ground."

Kakashi nodded, "Sasuke and I, both lighting and Sharingan users will go North. You three, go North East. If we don't find anything, we'll meet up in the middle."

"Hai." The team nodded and scattered.

"Our location has been discovered, the enemy is approaching." Zetsu's shadow figure stated. All Akatsuki members were together either in shadow or in person to gather the Shikaku's chakra, and they were almost done.

Deidara opened one eye, "Which enemy is that, hm?" 

"A very skilled and dangerous one, his name is Might Guy." Zetsu responded.

Pein narrowed his eyes, "Never heard of him, who is he?"

"An elite Leaf shinobi, a master of taijutsu, don't underestimate him." Itachi added in.

Kisame's eyes widened, "Ah, the strange beast again."

"I'll go, It'll make up for not finding the Jinjuriki host first." Hidan spoke without cussing.

Kisame shook his head, "No, leave it to me. I know him and have a personal score to settle with him. Payback for that kick he gave me three years."

"Really keeping count there Kisame?" Karuta smirked, "I doubt he even remembers your name."

"There are more intruders coming our way." Zetsu commented.

Pein sighed in annoyance, "You didn't cover your tracks very well did you Deidara?" 

Said blonde gulped, "Hm, that Jinjuriki put up a good fight. I lost one arm, un!"

"Your fighting methods are too loud and crude for a secret organization like this." Sasori's puppet spoke in his gruff voice.

"Oh, and your traps weren't, we have quite the similar technique my friend, hm." Deidara scoffed at his superior.

"You little brat..!" 

"Stop bickering already." Karuta rose her voice, seemingly already annoyed.

"Send me, send me. I'll sacrifice them all." Hidan tried to hide off the excitement in his voice.

Zetsu butt in, "No, a Leaf Shinobi and someone who would have been a Leaf Shinobi." Zetsu hinted.

Pein nodded, "Very well, Itachi, Karuta, you two are together right now. Hold off the shinobi, kill them if you must."

The two nodded and woke up from the transmission meeting. Karuta didn't move from her spot, Itachi and Karuta sat back to back. 

"These are Leaf Shinobi." Itachi stated, "In fact, both of our brothers."
