Chapter 7

Jessica hopped cheerfully to where Haruna stood awaiting her, "So how'd your meeting go?" Jessica smiled and melted, she told everything about the meet including the kiss that they had.

Haruna and Jessica headed to Celeste's training ground where they would be learning to fight with weapons such as sword, knives, and bows and arrows. They finally arrived and when Tessa and Jake arrived they began the lesson.

"Okay everyone's here...when you use a weapon, you must let it bond with you. It has to feel right and natural just like your abilities. Let me show you" Celeste swung the bow up and pointed the arrow towards a tree in the distance.

She took in a breath and released the arrow and it sliced through the tree, right on target. She smiled and placed out a tray of four weapons.

"Pick the one that speaks to you" Jessica leaned over each weapon and was suddenly attracted to the blade that had a black handle. Jessica lifted the sword and suddenly the end of the blade turned on fire. Everyone leaped around it, fascinated that it went right with her ability.

Once everyone had their weapons, Celeste placed moving dummy's that the group would have to fight.

"Jessica think fast." The dummy came to life and started slashing at her and Jessica slashed the blade at the dummy and watched as it broke through the dummy and turned on flames inside of the dummy and burned it down.

"Perfect! Haruna think fast!" Haruna pulled her bow and arrow back and the whole arrow covered with water and she released it towards the dummy. It splashed the dummy and the arrow cut through the skin.

"Tessa think fast!" The dummy leaped towards Tessa and she pulled out her small blades and then the ends sharpened with chunks of ice and cut the dummy in half.

"Perfect! Jake hurry!" The dummy came running up to Jake and he quickly bought his slick Katana (japanese sword) up to the dummy and cut through the chest and then vines wrapped around it and crushed the dummy until it went limp.

"You guys did amazing!" Celeste let the group eat lunch at her warm home before they went home. Jessica and Haruna headed straight for the hotsprings and when they slipped into the water they sighed as their tensed muscles unnerved.

" I cant wait to see him again" Jessica said, wanting to see Blake again but she knew she would have to wait a few days since he had told her he was leaving for a week or two for a quest given to him by the land of Agathia.
