Safe and Sound

I wake up to my alarm going off like crazy. I role out of bed and turn the shower on. This is my first day at my new job and I'm not used to getting ready so early.




After I'm all ready I look in the mirror for a once-over. I'm wearing my new white shirt with sparkles around the collar and some jeans. I want to look good on my first day even though it's at Olive Garden so I will probably be covered up by an apron anyways.

I curl my long brown hair in loose curls and put a little makeup on to set the whole look.




I get in my car and start heading for work, I just hope my day is as good as I hope.




When I get to Olive Garden it's 7 exactly, right on time. As I walk in there is a slightly bald man to greet me.

"You must be Selena! We are so glad to have you working here at Olive Garden with us." He says to me in a very cheerful way.




"Yep thats me! And thank you so much for giving me this job. I promise I won't let you down." I say and I know I won't.

He starts walking to the back towards the kitchen and I follow him. He leads me to what I assume a coat rack so I hang my coat up.

"Now, this is where you will come to every morning and get your items you will need. You will start with a small salary and work your way up. When you first get here..." And he just kept going on and on about what to do ad what not to do, the common sense stuff.

"We open at 8 so you have to get yourself and everything else ready by then. Oh my goodness it's 7:55 were almost at opening time! Alright here comes the guy who will be showing you around today"

As I turn and look in the direction he is gesturing to I freeze up. He was the most handsomest man I have seen in my life! He had his hair flipped up in the front and the most gorgeous smile on his face.

"Hey I guess your Selena, I'm going to be showing you around today." and I nearly faint.
