I walked along the strangely empty streets of downtown Manhattan, not one soul in sight, nor any lights in sight.
My hand reached into my back pocket, retrieving my Metro Card, as I began to get the feeling that somebody was following me, yet I never looked back.
I began walking faster towards Bowling Green station, my breathing becoming shaky from nerves, and fright. I walked down the stairs into the station as fast as I could. The red and white station was the only place with the lights turned on.
I jogged up to the entrance as I swept my Metro Card, being granted access with the first swipe. I walked in and looked in both directions, again strangely, I was alone.
I made my way over to the platform, as I put my card back in my pocket. And began waiting for a train, with no destination in mind. I swung my backpack down my shoulder, and placed it on the ground, so that it was kneeling against my leg. I slide my hand up my wrist, revealing my watch, I needed to know how much time I had left, my watch read, "00:12".
"Shit" I muttered under my breath.
I was running out of time and fast.
I put my sleeve back over my wrist.
"We have been looking for you Avis Freight". Said the voice of a woman from behind me.
I spun around, and saw a girl leaning against the wall behind me. She was dressed in all black clothing that was quite revealing.
Tattoos peaking out on every part of her body that was exposed. Her face also held a number of piercings. I immediately recognized her as being a part of the Shadow Stalker clan in South Korea.
Her long black hair trailed down to the middle of her torso, and her green almond eyes, burned into my icy blue ones. I tore my face away, and turned back around.
I reached into my coat pocket, as my other hand grabbed onto the top of my bag.
I pulled out a pistol, and kept it close to me, not letting her know I had it.
I began to hear the train coming in from the distance. My bag balanced on my foot, as both of my hands loaded and cocked the gun.
"You know what this means don't you?" The twenty something year old female spoke once more.
I didn't look at her nor turn around this time.
The sweat was beading down my face in concentration.
I could see the train coming into view from my left, as I gripped the gun tighter.
"Come with us, join us" The woman spoke once more.
I continued to ignore her, as the train was now fully in front of me, but had not yet slowed down.
In one swift motion, I kicked my bag in the air, catching it with my hand and swinging it around my shoulder. As my free hand aimed the loaded gun directly at the girl. I turned around, as I could hear the train beginning to screech as it was slowing down.
I fired three shots, blood spurted from her body as one bullet hit the middle of her forehead, another in her chest, and the last one in her lower abdomen. She sank to the floor slowly as a trail of blood left her head, making a mark on the wall as she sank lower and lower, as she took her last breath. Finally falling on the floor with death.
I could hear the train doors open behind me, as I took one last glance at her before turning around and stepping into the train.
