Chap 1 ♡

I can't do this anymore.. I whispered to myself. Finishing an anime season in one day.
Wow, congrats Mika, I thought..
My phone vibrated, I assume it's Eren trying to call me. I answered the phone calmly.

" Hey Mika, how are you feeling ? "
" I felt refreshed. "
" I'll text you later, I got an extra class to attend. Bye ! "
" Bye Eren. "
Maybe I should get ready to start the weekend off with a warm shower.
After getting ready, I walked downstairs to greet my parents before they're going to work.

After hugs and kisses, they left the doorstep and off to work.

I know being an only child is such a loner but, at least I get to overcome the things in the past..

I cleaned my room, organizing the items in place. I rummaged into the old items that needed to be thrown away and donated.

Something caught my eye on the shelf. I looked to see, it turns out to be an old notebook that I haven't been writing in it over a year.

I flipped through the pages gently. Looking back the pictures which brings so much unforgettable memories. I shall cherish it forever.

Reading what I had wrote, makes me feel happy. But it kinda disappoints me too.

My heart aches, it's like something hit me right into the heart with a sudden pang !

Why?

I dropped the fragile notebook. I sat down, leaning on the wall. Watery liquid is starting to form into the both of my eyes which was tears.

Tears streaming down on my cheeks which makes it wet. Puffy red eyes, showing so much emotions in me.

I'm strong, I know. Why would I care about him ? It's not like he matters anymore.

My phone vibrated on the study table in my room.

I wiped my tears to forget on what happened.

[ EREN ] : Hey, wanna go for a walk at 6 pm today ? :)
[ ME ] : S-sure !
[ EREN ] : Great ! See you later at the park. Bye.
[ ME ] : Yeah, bye.

Eren is such a great friend, he's like a brother to me whenever I feel down on anything,  even the small matters.

The clock on the wall in the living room showed 5:58 pm. Oh well, maybe I should go to the park first.

Locking the door, walking on the dirty path with my sport shoes. A brown haired boy sitting by the swing alone.

I'm guessing that's Eren.

" Hey Eren ! "
" Oh u-uh hey Mika ! Sorry I didn't text you when I came here first. "
" It's fine. "
Burying half of my face in the red scarf that he gave to me.

" I know you've been through a lot in the past. I haven't even get to ask you to go and have fun somewhere. "
" Oh um.. I'll be just fine. "
" I really wanna tell you something. "
" What is it ? "
Eren seemed nervous to tell me something that's really suspicious to me.
" Oh um, I left one of my homework at your house ! Gomenasai. "
" Oh sure, I'm sure it's in my room. "

We walked inside my house. Turning the door knob to enter my room.
" Oh I found it ! Arigatou. Sorry for being a troublesome. "
" It's fine, I'm going to make a lemonade. You want ? "
" Yes, thank you. "

I walked downstairs heading to the kitchen, taking out the ingredients to make a lemonade for two.

EREN'S P.O.V
I didn't left any homeworks at her house. I just felt, disappointed that she couldn't even know how I feel about her.

My feelings about her. I will confess to her soon.

Something caught my eye on the floor, it turns out to be a notebook and filled with happiness.

It's all written about him only. What was so special about him ? I don't understand.

He left her. She got broken for like a year, but still.. She never realised that I like her.

The door creaked open, I'm sure it's her. I quickly put the notebook away.
" Hey ! I got us lemonade. "
" Oh uh thanks ! "
" So, did you got your homework ? "
" Y-yeah, thanks. "
" I wonder why you said thanks like a lot today. You're so nice Eren, you don't have to say it most of the time. "

I scratch the back of my hair and gave her a nervous smile. I took a sip of the lemonade. It tasted good as always, I thought.

" Well, see you in school ! Bye. Oyasumi. "
" Aw, okay. Oyasumi nasai. "
