Bitter Feelings?

I blushed as Kagami spoke...but this time he didnt look away while blushing or pull his fingers back. "l-let go.." He stared into my eyes ignoring my statement. "No. tell me what feelings you guys were talking about earlier." I felt something bitter in his words and it sent shivers down my spine. "it was n-nothing!" he still stared into my eyes as if he was looking for the answers. "whatever then." He let my hair slip through my bangs and looked the other direction. Is he in a bad mood?

"Well i'll get going now. sorry for intruding." he walked out the front door and threw his bag over his shoulder. Did i piss him off...? "Mizuki!" I turned around startled and aunty rushed towards me while squeezing my hands. "LIKE O.M.G. DID YOU FEEL THAT VIBE FROM HIM?!" She hollered in my ear and i squinted. "Geez aunty! You arent a teenager anymore so dont talk like one! And feel what?!" She blinked a couple of times. She sighed and her grip loosened on my hands. "you'll find out." She let go and then she walked up the stairs heading to bed.

Find what out? "i'm surrounded by wierdos.." I shrugged it off and then i saw uncles old basketball laying on the floor. "Hey uncle im going to borrow this basketball." He crawled out of the room aunty dragged him in and then nodded shakily. "y-yeah o-ok." I threw on my shoes and ran out of the house. I found my footsteps leading myself to the basketball courts. I tied up my hair and pinned my bangs up. I walked on the courts and sighed while looking up at the stars, remembering what my mother told me when i was younger. "Dont be sad Mizuki. Just look at the stars and remember that they're shining brightly to remind you to smile just as bright."

I felt a tear on the verge of falling but i wiped it away and smiled while looking up. I looked at the hoop on the other side and i sprinted while dribbling. I jumped up and smashed the ball through while i hung onto the rim. Before i knew it i saw the hoop slanting and i felt my face turn purple. "ehehe....dammit." I started to fall backwards and i was mentally slapping myself calling myself an idiot. "Tch." I opened my eyes and saw Kagami sitting on the floor as he cushioned me with his stomach. I got off and i freaked out. "s-sorry did i break your rib?! did i cause internal bleeding?! did i-" Before i could say anything i felt a hug wrap around me.

"You idiot! Do you never learn?!" I was about to say something back but he let go of me immediately. "you probably wanted that guy who you have feelings for to catch you..didnt you?" That bitter feeling came back in his words again and realized what it was. "But he did catch me." I smiled while picking up the basketball and walked away. "what did you say?" He watched as i let my hair down and smiled to myself. "Oh nothing."

Theres nothing to get jealous over...
