Promise With Love

Hey guys, Bookie here. This story used to be in one of my friends profile. But she somehow forgot the poor thing and it was gathering dust so I offered to bring it back to life. This is Promise with Love in a new and improved version. Hope u enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Yumi made her way to the classroom where the dance club held their meetings and practices. She was met at the door by her bestfriend who seemed to be in a very angry mood.

"Hey Mizu! What's wrong? Someone diss you again?" Mizu turned to face her and a ghost of a smile appeared before it vanished.
"Hey Yumi, Kai's not letting me in."
"No surprise there since you know what happened the last time you were in there, don't you?"

"That was one time!"
"You nearly pulled the poor girl's hair out and threatened to shave off her eyebrows. That was brutal, even if she did deserve it."

"Served her right for calling me a cow!"
"You still didn't have to let you're anger get the best of you."
Mizu pouted, "I know but still..."
"Aish, this kid. Now, be a good girl and wait for Kai outside okay?"
"Can't you invite me in for best friends sake?" Mizu pleaded, trying her best to do the puppy eyes.  "Sorry Mizu-cchi but that ain't happening. I promised Kai-cchi that i wouldn't and stop doing that. It's creeping me out" Yumi shuddered.
Mizu sighed and started pouting again, "Sometimes I wonder whose side you're on, I'm not talking to him anymore!"

Yumi rolled her eyes and entered the classroom. Her boyfriend, YiXing, was teaching some beginners while her bestfriend's boyfriend, Kai, watched at the side occasionally shouting out some instructions. She made her way to him. Kai looked at her and smiled, "Hey Yumi, are you here for hyung?"
"What did you think? That I'd come for you."

Kai pouted so identically like Mizu that she couldn't help but start laughing. "Mizu-cchi is feeling miserable being outside you know."

Kai smiled at the mention of his girlfriend's name, "I had to do it otherwise she would have wrecked the place."
"But you know she wouldn't hurt a fly. Anyway, she said that she wouldn't talk to you anymore."
Kai's smile melted into a pout again. Yumi patted his shoulder in mock sympathy. Before she could say anything a pair of arms wrapped themselves  around her torso and she turned towards YiXing's dimpled face beaded with sweat. The first thing that came to her mind when she saw him was, "You stink!"

A stifled laugh was heard behind them and she knew Kai was trying not to laugh while YiXing pouted, "Come on Jagiya, I just finished practice."
"Yes, I can see that but please do take a shower now."

Still pouting, he walked off towards the locker room. Yumi smiled as she watched him go. Then she turned to face Kai who looked as if he was constipated. "And you, I suggest you go butter up your girlfriend or something now or else you won't hear the end of it."
Kai sobered up pretty quickly and nodded before he ran off in search of his girlfrend.

Mizu had wandered off and ended up bumping into a very flustered freshman. "Hey, whoa there! Are you alright?"
The freshman raised her head and a pair of deep brown eyes stared up at her; she blinked but didn't say anything. Instead she kept staring at Mizu. One wouldn't be surprised though, since Mizu was as beautiful as she was scary. "You know, you can keep staring at me all you want but that isn't going to get you anywhere. And it's also kinda rude to stare."

The freshman blushed, "I'm sorry."
Mizu smiled which transformed her face greatly, "It's alright, I was just kidding. Newbie right? Need any help on getting directions?"
"Umm.... Yes. I'm Mayu, Eunji Mayu. Nice to meet you."
"Mizu, Shirota Mizu. Follow me, I'll bring you to the office."
"Thank you."

Before they could take a step however the sound of running feet were heard and a pair of arms were wrapped around Mizu. A familiar voice then whined, "Jagiya......don't leave me..."

As Mayu looked at Kai who was exhausted from running for the past minute searching for her, a faint smile of adoration graced Mizu's features and she turned around at the guy hugging her and kissed his cheek. They had a short whispered conversation before Mizu introduced Mayu and they headed towards the head office. On their way there, Mayu observed the couple. Mizu looked like a rebel. Her black hair was long and wavy with pink and purple tips. She even wore her uniform differently, her blue blazer was tied around her waist, her tie was loose and her sleeves were rolled up. She also wore ripped tights and blue high cut converse. Her left ear had a double piercing with an earring chain. Altogether she looked like the queen of trouble. Next to her, her boyfriend (she assumed boyfriend since he had his arm around her waist) was more or less like a cute bear. He had brown hair that flopped over his forehead and deep brown eyes. He didn't have his blazer on but his sleeves were rolled up and his tie was loose. Compared to them Mayu felt scraggly.

Mizu seemed to notice her inner distress and smirked before whispering to Kai. Mayu suddenly felt herself get pulled towards a dark corner. For a moment she panicked before turning around and seeing Mizu. Mizu smiled at her and began to mess with her appearance; she let loose Mayu's hair from the tight ponytail that held it, she then untucked her blouse and raised her skirt a bit. When she was done Mizu took a step back to admire her work and for a finishing touch she applied lip gloss on Mayu's parched lips. When everything was in order they stepped out of the space they were in which Mayu just noticed happened to be the janitors closet.

When Kai saw them he whistled, "Looking good Mayu. My girl's done some serious work."
Mayu blushed and smiled her thank you. They continued on their walk to their intended destination. The three of them bumped into Yumi and YiXing in the hallway. They were in their own world until Mizu cleared her throat. Either they heard it or not they didn't bother moving, until Mizu smirked and kissed YiXing's cheek. Yumi snapped out of her reverie and glared at her bestfriend. "Hey! Kiss your own boyfriend!" Yumi said in anger while YiXing turned red and started laughing at Yumi's childishness. 

Out of possessiveness Kai wrapped his arms around Mizu and glared at YiXing. Mayu found it funny and let out a quiet giggle. Yumi heard it and looked at her. "Hi!"
Startled Mayu let out a soft hi. At closer inspection Mayu was surprised to see that Yumi's hair that she thought was brown in color was actually very pink. It suited her perfectly. She even dressed to suit her hair color. She wore a blue sleeveless sweater over her blouse and a blue headband. She also wore black knee length socks with nude pumps. Her boyfriend, was dressed similarly like Kai.

When the intoductions were over all of them continued walking. Mayu was only half paying attention as to where she was walking and bumped into something or rather someone. She looked up to see cute brown eyes looking at her with a mixture of surprise and embarrassment. "Ah! Kamsamida!"
Both Mayu and the brown eyed guy said at the same time and blushed simultaneously. They kept this in a never ending loop until Kai laughed and threw his hand over the brown eyed guy's. "Mayu meet Kyungsoo. Our academy's lady killer."
Kyungsoo glared at Kai and gave him a sharp jab before he smiled cutely at Mayu and mumbled a nice to meet you before running off.

Kyungsoo. It was a nice name. And he was cute.
