Vernon: Are You Sure pt.2

You woke up dreading going to school. Sungyeol was waiting outside for you so of course you couldn't take long getting ready. You put your hair in a fishtail braid. You chose a simple outfit not wanting Sungyeol to get annoyed.

You walked out and saw he was riding his bike. "Get on" he said smiling. You thought you two were going walking to school so you were surprised. And scared a bit. You didn't want to fall off. "There's enough space don't worry" he said. You slowly walked over to him. You got on but didn't get on the seat "Since when were you shy. Just hold onto me and nothing will happen" he said starting to peddle making you cling onto him instantly.

You got to school and quickly got off the bicycle making Sungyeol chuckle. "Wow modern Prince Charming and Cinderella" Hansol says looking at you two smiling but you knew it was fake. You cleared your throat and Sungyeol smiled. "Just like the old days. But back then I hated girls and dreaded playing that with y/n" Sungyeol says. Hansol laughs and looks at the floor "Are you two coming to my game?" Hansol asks "We can't. Were going to the amusement park after school to catch up a bit more" Sungyeol says making Hansol sigh and nod "Yeah, you two probably have a lot of things to catch up on. Have a nice time" he says quietly making Sungyeol smile "Good luck on your game man" Sungyeol replies.

It was the end of the day and Sungyeol ran up to you at the school gates. He slung his arm around you. "Let's go bunny" he says making you furrow your eyebrows in confusion "Bunny?" you asked. He laughed "Because your cute like a bunny" he responded simply.

You two spent the rest of the day laughing. The the last ride of the day eventually came up. The Ferris Wheel. A really cliche ride for all dates. But this wasn't a date which made everything more shocking later on. The Ferris wheel started spinning and you two got to the top. "I missed you so much. We finally get to see each other again. And your even more beautiful then before" Sungyeol said leaning in to kiss you making you freeze. He kissed you and smiled "I hope we become more than friend's" he said. You thought everything was going to fast so all you did was smile and change the topic.

The next day you went to Hansol wanting to know how his game went. You saw him and decided to sneak up behind him. You covered his eyes from behind "Guess who human?" you said "Considering the fact that you said human and your voice is a girl's. I'm guessing y/n" he said taking your hands off and turning around. "Did you win?" you asked, he frowned and shook his head. You felt bad for him until he almost busted your ear "No we dominated that game!" he said smiling.

You were happy for him. "I wish you would've been there. But that doesn't matter anymore. How did your date go with Sungyeol go?" he asked. You quickly shook your head "It wasn't a date. But he did kiss me" you said saying the last sentence quietly. His eyes popped out "Oh wow. That was fast. Not that it matters. You two go well together. Like I said modern Prince Charming and Cinderella" he sayssarcastically.

"Are you mad?" you asked already knowing the answer "Me, mad? No never. I'm totally fine considering the fact that the girl I've been liking since middle school gets swept off her feet by her first love. And expects for me to be fine and happy with little sunshines and rainbows around me" Hansol says bitterly. You never would have thought that this would turn into an argument but you thought wrong "I never asked you to be happy" you said. He laughed "Yeah, your right. You probably don't even care. And you know when I realized that. When you decided to break our promise about you being at my game yesterday. I was going to be my best just to look cool in front of you. But after you told me that you were going to the amusement park with Sungyeol instead of my game that's when I decided to not care anymore. And I still did my best at the game which got me a scholarship but that won't mean anything to you. But for me that'll mean being able to leave this school and all my feelings for you" he said walking off.

You had forgotten about the promise. And he was going to move away with that scholarship. Prince Charming came back into your life but your real prince was leaving right in front of your eyes. And all thanks to not caring about Hansol. Sungyeol came back and thats all you could think of. That's probably what made him realize he deserved better. You should have treated him better. But you clearly didn't. You weren't able to make him happy the way he made you happy in middle school at the school's rooftop. "I can't leave things like this" you said going to where you thought he would be.

The schools rooftop. He was crying which made you shocked. He didn't see you which made you a bit happy and relaxed. You didn't want to startle him. You hugged him and he dried his eyes trying to clear his vision. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not caring. I was selfish this whole time. But I don't want to lose you like this. I need to make things right between us. I'm actually growing feelings for you. And I thought I was growing feelings for Sungyeol as well. But I was getting mixed with the past and the present. Your my present, Sungyeol was the past. I'm sorry for not realizing this sooner but I just wanted you to know" you said quietly.

He pulled away from the hug and looked at you. "You don't have to do this" he said. You shook your head "No, I actually feel this way. If I would have gone to your game I would have known about your scholarship too. I missed out on that sadly. All thanks to my decisions" you said looking down and letting out a tear. You missed out on one of the most important things to Hansol. He grabbed your hand and kissed you. After a while he pulled away "I'm so glad you like me. And that scholarship isn't set in stone. I want something that makes me happy. Like the way you make me feel. Since you make me so happy... Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked. You smiled and nodded "Of course" you said hugging him.

"And about prom?" he asked making you laugh "I'm only going with my Prince Charming" you said making Hansol furrow his eyebrows "I thought I was your boyfriend?" he said. You nodded "Yeah, you are. Your also my Prince Charming idiot" you said. "Are you sure? Last time I checked Prince Charming was Sungyeol?" "That was then this is now" you said smiling making Hansol give you a kiss on the forehead. "Good. I like it this way" he said.
