Yang is having a hard time getting to sleep. Realizing she needed Blake in order to help her fall asleep

Tossing and turning. Finding a comfortable spot seemed to be impossible for Yang tonight.

she regretted deciding to head to bed early. Because now she was alone in her own bed, surrounded by unwanted cold and silence.

She normally shared a bed with Blake, but for some reason she thought laying in her in her own bed since Blake wasn't heading to bed anytime after seemed to be a good idea at the time.

Now? Not so much.

Now, she laid in her bed staring at the cieling. She could hear her girlfriends breathing below her. But she didnt want to disturb her from her sleep. But would she be angry at her for waking her up just to sleep again?

Why is this so difficult for her?

Her and Blake havent been together for long, only about two months. But really their relationship blossomed a lot in the little time they had together. Maybe it was because they spend every day together anyway, aswell as partners at Beacon. They spent almost every waking moment together, except for sleep. Even that has become time to cuddle as well.

Finally, Yang decided she'd might as well wake her up for the thirty seconds to hop into the bed. Yang needed to sleep in order to function for classes, it wouldnt kill to switch beds.

turning and throwing the blanket off her body. She turned, swinging her feet over the bed and lightly hops down from her bunk. Making sure nobody woke from her drop and turns to the sleeping figure under her own bed.

Touching her shoulder, she hears a hum come from the sleeping figure, letting one knee lean on the bed as she leans over Blake to see if she had her eyes open.

"You awake?" Yang asks stupidly. She just shook her, of course she was awake.

"I am, yes." Blake replies, voice heavy with sleep. It gave her voice a small rasp that was way more attractive then Yang expected. Blake didn't move at first, peering over her shoulder at the blonde, her eyes almost glowing.

Yang assumed it was a faunus thing. She was a cat faunus, so of course her eyes would almost glow like cat eyes do.

"Scooch over." Yang whispered as she sat on the bed. Blake getting up and moving toward the other end of the tiny bed. Rolling over the face the lilac eyed girl now struggling to get underneath her blankets.

Once she laid down, the pillow split between the two of them, but neither moved or changed positions. Blake just watched Yang as Yang stared up at the bottom of her bed for a few minutes.

"The awkwardness at this moment was unexpected." Yang grinned as she peered over at Blake. Who smiled at her comment. Snuggling her head into the pillow, Yang rolled over to face her too. Watching her rest was relaxing for Yang as well. She loved watching Blake, and took the chance any time she could to just watch the faunus do normal things.

Blake's hand brushed up against Yang's under the covers. Her eyes opening for just a moment, before pulling Yang's up to the pillow and intertwining their hands on it.

Yang smiled, now tired. Allowing her eyes to drop shut, finally able to sleep. She made sure from there on she didn't make the foolish choice of sleeping in her own bed from then on.
