Chapter 24- The Dinner

(Jade's POV)
I woke up because Kate shook my shoulders and tickled my ear.

"Let's pull a prank on Dustin." Kate whispered. I looked around and noticed that the others we're still sleeping, just me and Kate who's awake.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"7am." She said.

"So, early. Are you sure that Dustin is still sleeping?"

"Yeah. I didn't heard his door opened."

"What if he's already awake and went outside for a run?"

"No, I woke up around 6am." Kate said.

"So, what are we going to do to him?" I asked.

"Uh, fake snakes! Yeah! Put some fake snakes around his room!" Kate said as she hold a dozens of fake snakes.

"Where did you get that? I mean, why so fast?!"

"Magic." Kate said.

"O-okay, let's go." I said then we got out of my room and Kate opened Dustin's room. She knows how to open locked doors. It opened and we stepped in. Dustin is still sleeping and snoring loudly.

"Let's put this on his ceiling." Kate said as she gave me some fake snakes. We tied it up on his ceiling and we're done.

"Let's put this one on his stomach." I said the I wiggled the snake in my hand and put it in his stomach, I mean above his stomach.

This will be so much fun.

"Let's go." Kate said.

"Yeah we sh-"

"What are- AAAAH! THE FVCK!" Dustin cursed then we ran into my room and Kate locked the door.

"Phew! That was close!" Kate said.

"Yeah."

"You know, your best friend Kate was really evil." Dustin said.

The girls left 5 hours ago and we started preparing for the dinner while my parents were in their room.

"Yeah, I know." I said.

"Are your so-called boyfriend will come?" Dustin asked.

"Yeah, he said he will be here in 10 minutes."

"Be sure he will." Dustin said.

"I'm gonna go upstairs." I told him. I went upstairs and wear my blue strapless dress. I applied some make up and mascara then I curled my hair into a perfect one then I went downstairs.

"What took you so long? Your boyfriend is waiting at the living room, with our parents." Dustin said.

Oh my gosh, I better go with him or else, my mom will show him more embarrassing picture of mine when I was a kid.

"Hey Mom, hey Dad," I greeted my parents then sat beside Alex, "Hi Alex."

"Hello, babe." He said then he kissed my cheeks.

"What were you discussing about?" I asked them.

"Just to take care of our daughter, of course." Dad said, I know when he discussed it with Alex, there are some threats in it.

"Dinner's ready!" Dustin shouted then he ran towards the dining room and sat at his chair, I know him so well.

"Let's go." Mom said then we stood up and trailed behind my parents.
