The Field Trip (A Danny Phantom Fan Fiction)

Chapter 19

"The Specter Speeder is fueled up and ready to go when you are Great One." Frostbite informed Danny.

He nodded "Thank you Frostbite. As soon as everyone is finished eating we'll go ahead and be out of your way."

Everyone was just finishing off their breakfast when Danny's ghost sense went off. Danny caught Sam's eyes and she saw that he was afraid. Over the last couple weeks Danny had been able to start being able to distinct what ghost caused his ghost since. This ghost was obviously bad.

Sure enough a second later the newly replaced window was blown in and in flew a ghost wearing a white cape and had spiky black hair. Danny smirked "What's up Fruit loop?" Dani shrunk back in fear and hid behind Danny.

Plasmius scowled "I'm going to ignore that. As much fun as it would be for you to give me the scary eyes and all that I'm actually not here for you. See Dani here is the only successful clone of Phantom that I ever had. Well I need to find out why." He said evilly.

Danny pulled Dani up into his arms "Over my dead body!"

Vlad smirked "That can be arranged..." he quickly shot and ecto blast at Danny but luckily he and Dani rolled under the table before they could be hit.

Danny pulled an ecto bomb out of his pocket then turned to Dani "Stay here!" she nodded. He slid out from under the table and was instantly met with a barrage of ecto blasts. "Hey Fruit loop catch!"

"I am not a Fruit loop!" Vlad yelled back. Only too late did he see the ecto bomb flying towards him.

While Vlad was distracted Danny pulled Dani out from under the table and ran upstairs. "Daddy where are we going?!" Dani asked nervously as Danny locked the door to his room. They were trapped. "Saving you. Now stay behind me and no matter what I do or say stay here ok? Promise me."

"I-I promise." She stuttered as tears started to flow from her eyes.

Danny knelt down in front of her and kissed her forehead. He wrapped her in a hug and ran his hand through her hair. "I love you Dani. No matter what happens remember... I love you..."

Before Dani could ask what he was talking about the door burst open and in stepped Vlad. Danny stood up and went ghost. "It's me you want not Dani. If you take Dani you'll just be copying a copy but if you take me you'll be copying the original. Therefore making your clones more stable." Danny said firmly.

"Daddy No!" Dani yelled grabbing his wrist.

Vlad smirked "How sweet. You want to sacrifice yourself for the little brat... well sorry Daniel I already have all I need from you. All I need now is to extract that ecto dejecto from Danielle here."

"No you can't! That'll kill her!" Danny yelled while Vlad just shrugged. "Vlad I have some ecto dejecto in my bag let me give you that!"

He shook his head "Sorry my little badger. I need ecto dejecto that has already bonded with your DNA. And Dani here is the only one with that." and one swift move Vlad pulled out a gun and shot Danny with a tranquilizer dart. He turned back to human then weakly saw Dani being carried away. Then he saw no more.
