We arrive at Chads classroom and he runs off with the other children so I go to head out the door.
"Hey Ash" I hear James call from behind me
I roll my eyes and turn around as he comes towards me.
"Ahh here's a note about parent teacher interviews for you and your husband' James says handing me a form.
"Husband?" I question
"Ahh yeah Chads father" he says giving my a look
"Oh yeah ok" I fake smile and walk out.
(AFTER SCHOOL)
I walk in to get Chad and I was a few minutes late due to work.
"Mommy your late" Chad says
"I'm soo sorry sweetie, are you ready to go?" I ask
"Actually Ash may I have a quick word with you?" James says getting out of his seat.
"What about" I ask
"About Chad" he says
He turns to Chad and tells him to go play outside.
"I want to talk to you about Chad, his been putting his drink bottle between his legs and squirting it on the other children. Now I've already spoken to him about it but I would like it if you would talk to him to" he tells me sternly.
'Logan' I thought to myself "is that all? James I thought there was something serious" I say
"Well it is if the other children start to do it the parents might get a bit upset. So will you have a chat to him?" He asks
"Sure thing" I say sarcastically
James calls Chad back inside and we go home.
(IN THE CAR)
"Am I in trouble Mommy?" Chad asks
"Yes you are but Logan's in more trouble then you are" I say back making him fell better.
(AT HOME 6.00)
Chad and I had just finished getting ready when Logan arrived
"Hey kiddo, what are you doing sitting on the naughty step?" I hear Logan ask chad
"Because I'm in trouble and so are you" Chad tells him
"What?" Logan questions
"That's right your both in trouble so get on the naughty step to Logan" I say ushering him to sit down
Logan looks from me to Chad confused
"Now Chad you know it's not nice to put your drink bottle between your legs and squirt it at the other children" I say sternly
"Hahahaha you did that, hi five" Logan turns to Chad and gives him a hi five
"LOGAN" I shout crossing my arms
"Sorry but it's funny" he laughs
"Well you shouldn't have taught him that cause now his doing it at school" I tell him
"Oh" he turns to Chad "you know how some things you can do at home but you can't do at school?" He asks
"Yeah, like sleeping" chad answers
"Yeah well the doodle squirt is one of them ok so you can't do it at school" he tells him
"Ok"
"You promise you won't do it again"
"I promise" he says giving Logan a hug
"Thank you" I tell Logan
"That's ok he learnt it off me so I should tell him it's wrong" he smiles at me
"Right little man are you ready to go to the carnival?" Logan asks excitedly
"YEAH" Chad screams
"WELL LETS GO" he screams back.
