"I'm going to miss you so much, Jesy!" My mother hugged me tight with tears rolling down her cheeks. Hugging her back I said trying not to sound too choked up, "mom come on, I'll be fine. I'm chasing my dream right?" Sniffling she said, "I know just...be careful alright?" I gave her a reassuring smile, "alright." Then I was on my way to being a WWE diva.




"This is it," I whispered to myself as I stepped out of the cab. As I walked
into the FCW building I felt butterflies grow in my stomach. This was the first step in becoming a WWE diva, and I was more ready than ever. All of a sudden I was greeted by a tall blonde woman. With a smug grin plastered on her face she said, "my names Summer Rae, you must be the new girl." Looking me up and down she let out a conceited laugh. "Not very impressive if you ask me." As she walked away I felt my confidence fading. But, I shook it off and proceeded to meet the other rookies. As I was putting my things into my locker someone caught my eye. He was tall, tan, and good god was he handsome. I quickly turned away when he looked my direction. I heard him walk towards me and my heart pounded. Ugh, why did I have to stare. "Hi, you the new girl?" His voice was deep and manly. I turned to face him. "Y-yeah. And you are?" He politely shook my hand, "I'm Roman." I shook his hand back, gazing into those gorgeous eyes of his, "I'm Jesy." He smiled sweetly and said, "nice to meet you Jesy. Since you're new around here I could show you around." Blushing I nodded. "This is the work out room where everybody is most of the time." "Uh huh." I was hardly listening, I couldn't even take my eyes off of him. "Jesy?" I snapped out of my trance and said, "yeah?" He laughed and said, "I asked you where you were from." Ugh! I felt so embarrassed but managed to say, "Chicago, you?" "Florida." I giggled out of shyness. As Roman walked me back to my locker room he said, "we should do this again sometime, call me?" I was screaming internally. "Sure!" As he walked away I couldn't help but get weak at the knees. Something about that man, he was just so mesmerizing.






9 YEARS LATER
"From Chicago Illinois, the women's champion...Jesy!" My theme music hit and I was greeted with the warm reception of the WWE universe. As I high fived my way down to the ring I couldn't help but think about how blessed I was. Then again I felt like something was, missing. I handed my championship that I had been holding for 121 days now to the reff and waited for my opponent. But then, triple h's theme hit. I rolled my eyes. What could he want? "Jesy, look you've beat practically all the divas back there and I just think that you should have someone that's really gonna challenge you." Then I heard it. 'SIERRA HOTEL INIA ECHO LIMA DELTA..SHIELD.' Oh no. I looked around the ring worried out of my mind. Then I saw them. The three members of the shield. I hadn't seen any of their faces up close or hell, I didn't know their names! All I knew was that they were dangerous. As they circled the ring triple h said while waking away, "it's what's best for business." I stood in fear scanning their faces. One had medium cut hair with a blonde streak in it, the other had short light brown hair and crazy eyes, and the other....the other was Roman. I felt like I couldn't breathe. Was this really happening!? How did I not know Roman was in the WWE?! As they entered the ring the other two stood aside as Roman came face to face with me. Instead of hurting and scaring me he bent down and whispered in my ear, "we're not gonna hurt you Jesy. But I just wanna let you know that I remember you....and I love you." What. What?! My eyes widened and stared at Roman as they left the ring. I made my way out shortly after they left. I was so confused.
