My little secret

As I walked along the streets trying my best to avoid sunlight, Ivan entered my mind. It was like a messaging system. Weird. " Where are you now?"

"Umm, I am heading to my school now."

" What??? You can't go to your school!"

" Ya of course I can go. I have my education as my first preference. You can't stop me."

"You'll burn to ashes if you stay under the sun for long." He literally screamed in my mind.

" Well, its already been quite a while. And I know this concept of you vampires.... Ummm about us vampires, so I've benn avoiding direct rays. I'm fine."

"That's impossible. You should have been turned to ashes by now. Oh.... How different kind of a vampire you are. First you show incredibly fast development then you show strange abilities. You are picking up things too fast!"

" Be happy with that.... By the way is there any way to shut you down from my mind?"

" Yes there is ... Its..its just that you have to imagine that link that is joining us then you have to break that link. There is no way you can do it so fas--"

"Well I already blocked you" I said loudly.

I comfortably walked till our school premises only to be welcomed by my friends who were super-excited about God knows what. Anne and Petrie pulled by my arms and dragged me across the campus. As I was being dragged down, I saw students glancing at me. Boys were staring at me with their jaws flung open. My vampire beauty was charming them all. Oblivion to all the stares and comments that I received , my friends took me to the canteen. They let me sit on one aide while both of them sat on the other side across me so as to face me directly.

After staring at me for long , Anne began , "So.........." Dragging the word extensively.

I looked at them with a blank face.

Petrie spoke this time," How was your date with Zayn Malik? And also we heard that you met with an accident..... It was rumour, right? "

I answered in a defensive manner," First of all, it wasn't a date. It was just a meet." By saying that second thoughts came to my mind,"just a meet? Was it really just a meet? What about the kiss and his words...."

They might have been humans but they read my mind instantly. They cross questioned me,"Are you sure because your expression says something else !" in chorus.

I shrugged and said, " About the accident, well I really had an accident that changed my love for forever"

Their eyes literally popped out of their sockets while I continued, " This is a big secret which I'm letting you guys no. Don't think its a joke because it is not. You see how different I look. Check out my teeth. My hair. Observe me carefully. If you have wondered, they are natural. They occurred naturally because of the 'accident'. Here it goes. I'm a vampire. I am a vampire."
