There was a time between leaving the mountain side and landing. I floated, drifted. My mind was blank, and without warning I soon felt tears rolling down my cheeks. I could feel them, before I knew it I was sobbing. The wind sending my tears flying. I didn't care. I had to find Kyu. While I left to find Inu Yasha and the others, Kyu was stolen by Noritsune. I had to get her back. The crystal in her neck, that was purified by me to keep her alive, was being defiled. If I waited any longer she could be killed. I would sacrifice my life for hers. I couldn't waste anytime at all. I flew, for hours? Days? I couldn't tell time anymore. The sun was setting and shadow crept in casting knew life onto the plains of Ethra. The land of the fallen. I slowly descended my flight pulling my wings in. There, tied to a tree, was my little sister. A new necklace clenching her throat yet she seemed to be laughing. A series of high-pitched screams of insanity.
"No...God..Why?" I mumbled. My eyes turning dark. I fell to my knees, soft sobs escaping from under my breath. Clenching my teeth, I rose to my feet, stumbling to find my balance.
"HOW DARE YOU! How could you go so low as to posses my sister rather than fight me as you are?! Did you really think you would be safe in there?! WRONG! I will kill you for this! You underestimate my power!! FOOL!" Throwing myself into stance, my arms crossed in an "X" one hand palm up the other palm down legs spread apart.
"DIE!!" Screaming as the power flooded my body. Fire, Ice, Spirit forming together to collide into the shape of a dragon. Its teeth plunged into Kyu's heart, forcing Noritsune out of her body.
Surprised, he stumbled to his feet. Heavy breaths were escaping his lips.
"But you were weak?! How did you obtain such power?!" keeping his gaze at the ground, he spoke amazed at my abilities.
"I'm afraid I can't share that with you. You won't live long enough to hear my answer." I told him creating a cage with my hands. A ball of energy formed in my palms, "Mato Zon getsua!" I screamed off the top of my lungs to attack him. Black light cut through the air, opening a path to hell.
"That's where you belong you retched creature!!" After he had been swallowed whole by the void, I rushed over to Kyu's wilted body.
"Kyukara!! I did it i beat him! I wo-" she didn't even look up to acknowledge me. I felt tears, boiling hot, well up.
"No....Kyu...Kyu answer me!!" nothing. she sat motionless. I cradled her in my arms holding her close to me.
"I failed you...forgive me." I pulled out a dagger from my boot and I was going stab myself to follow her.
"Haku! No!" I raised my head. How he found me was beyond my understanding, but the look in his eyes said everything. Falling to his knees, Tsuka's tears fell to the ground. He inched closer to me and held me in his arms. I could hear soft sobs from him. Pushing away from him, I wiped away his tears and lay a kiss on his check, "You don't need to cry for me, i'm very capable of doing that myself." I gave a weak smile. I could hear his muffled chuckle but he didn't stop crying. I guess he was closer to Kyu than I thought.
"Haku, I need to tell you something." I questioned his words.
"I was the one who found Kyukara. I protected her from Hyuga for as long as i could. that's why she was at my house that day. So I guess you could say it was my fault." his sobbing continued.
"Although that does explain a lot, she was my sister. I take full responsibility for her. You didn't see what happened, I killed her with my own two hands." Tears spilled from my eyes as I spat those last few words out. Again being held in his embrace, petting my head whispering words into my ear.
"It's ok....shh." There was no way in hell I could stay silent. Losing my sister was the last thing he would do.
