You and your boyfriend Jacob of two months were at your house talking about little, unimportant things, but they were important to you because you were talking to the boy you loved. Suddenly you asked him, out of the blue, "Do you think I'm pretty?" Jacob looks at you for a few seconds. "No..." You were hurt and didn't know what to say. "Well, do you want to be with me forever," you ask on the very edge of tears. "No..." Jacob responds again. You look at him curiously. Why would he do this to you? Why would he be your boyfriend if he thought these things.
"Would you cry if I walked out of this room right now," you ask one last time. "No..." Jacob responds yet again.
You finally had enough. You got up, tears streaming down your eyes. You suddenly feel Jacob grabbing your arm. You tried to get out of his grip but he was too strong. He turned you around and pulled you closer.
"You're not pretty, you're beautiful. I don't want to be with you forever, I NEED to be with you forever. And, I wouldn't cry if you walked away, I would DIE."
You looked up at him, not believing what he was saying. He leaned in and kissed you until you let go to catch your breath.
"So please, stay with me," Jacob asks.
"I will," you smile, hugging him tightly and listening to his heartbeat.
