Mia wandered the halls of her highschool. Being a sophomore at the end of a long and exhausting school year wasn't easy. She was suppose to be in Latin class but instead found herself across campus with her backpack on her back. She was fascinated by everything at this point.

Christopher was an unusual sort. He hardly looked his Japanese heritage. It was astonishing. He was also wandering the halls at this time just looking for something to get into. He was suppose to be in fashion design but instead found himself in Main building. Looking down at his phone to sort out some party plans, he ran smack into a smaller figure.

"Hey there short stuff." Christopher commented after running into one of his best friends. They were really good friends but that was it. Friends.

"Christopher. You aren't that much taller than I am." Mia shook her head laughing and rolled her eyes.

"Yes but I am still taller than you Mia."

"Your point? I am also female. I'm tall for my gender." Mia said making a scrunched up face.

"Sure you are." He laughed. His voice deep and soothing. He embraced her in a hug. "Why aren't you in class? Aren't you suppose to be in Latin?" He asked looking down at her.

"Maybe. It's none of your business." She said trying to keep the secrete. "Okay I'm skipping. Don't tell Ms. Smith. Although, aren't you suppose to be in Fashion?" She asked her hands on her hips.

"I won't tell if you don't tell little bit." He said a smirk on his face.

Mia shook her head and giggled. "You're such a dork. A fashionable dork. But a dork nonetheless."

"Is that such a bad thing? I would have never guessed you as a bad girl."

"There are lots you don't know about me, sir. I do a lot more than you people know." She winked and turned to go a different direction.

"Wait come back!" That voice. His voice. It soothed her. Even when she was frustrated. Which happened regularly in culinary. All he had to do was speak. For some unknown reason, the noise that came from her mouth made her love him even more. For the first time, she realized that's what she was missing. One word consisting of four letters. She loved him.
