Marty's POV

What would be the easiest way to get there? I didn't care how, whatever was quickest worked for me. I went up to the lady sitting at the counter, she looked kind of scary. Her eyes fell on me as I stood in front of her.

"How may I help you?" she asked in a lifeless tone.

"I need a ticket to Holms Chapel."

"I can't get you a ticket for that, but I can for Cheshire."

"Where is that?" I asked.

She giggled "I don't suppose you know where Holms Chapel is?"

I shook my head.

"It's in Cheshire love."

"Oh" I blushed looking down at the floor.

"If you don't mind me asking, if you don't know where it is then why are you going?"

"I need to find someone" I admitted.

"They must be pretty important huh?"

I nodded, not quite sure of the answer.

"Return?"

"No" I said confidently.

"Is it a boy?"

I was starting to get annoyed at her curiosity in my business.

"No" I said bluntly.

She instantly backed off printing out my ticket.

"£45."

"I'm sorry how much?" I shrieked.

"It's almost 5 hours away, you will need to change train on numerous occasions."

I handed her Lily's card unwillingly. She processed it in the machine, with the help of me typing in the correct pin before she handed it back to me.

"Have a safe journey" she smiled.

"Thanks" I muttered going to the correct train.

I've never been on a train by myself before. That was always something which annoyed me about my parents, or should I say adopted parents, who knows. They would be way too overprotective. It didn't matter what age I was they wouldn't let me travel anywhere by myself, afraid I would never come back. Maybe they thought I knew and was going to search for my real parents.

I walked through the train picking out the perfect seat to sit on. I sat down in the corner of the train opposite a girl who could possibly be my age. She looked up at me clearly annoyed to be disturbed. For a second I thought she would move away, but after a long stare in my direction she focused on the book she was reading.

The crisps I had brought earlier fell to the floor. The girl raised her eyebrow as I smiled weakly at her and picked up the packet. I opened it up taking a bite of one of the crisps. The salt and vinegar melted on my tongue, the crunch ringing in my ears. When was the last time I ate? Did the hospital even feed me? You were unconscious... my conscious sniggered. I really should have thought this through properly, maybe have come more prepared.

I jumped when I heard a guys voice next to me. I looked over at him. He was pale with dark wavy hair and blue eyes. His eyes met mine for a short second before a smile spread across his face. I instantly looked away from him, the girl continued to stare at me.

"Have you got a problem with me?" I asked agitated.

She stayed quiet for a moment before answering "I'm sorry, I was just looking" she shrugged.
