Chapter 14

It was nearly five o'clock in the afternoon and the CEO of Jang corporations was comfortably sitting at his office desk reading some documents. After a while he put the papers down rubbed his eyes to get away the tiredness and pressed a button to call over his secretary. Soon the silence was interrupted by the light knocking on the door.
"Come in!" The CEO ordered. The door opened and the secretary,a young man in his twenties,entered.
"What can I do for you sir.?" He asked.
"I want to organize a party to celebrate the good result of one of my projects. I need it to be an impressive thing,with lots of famous guests;actors,singers and make sure that the group Bangtan Boys will be present."
"Yes,sir. Is there something else that I need to do?"
"Yeah,notice my bodyguard that I need to see him in 30 minutes." The CEO added.
"Yes,sir. I'll do it right away." The young secretary bowed and then left the room leaving the CEO alone.
"I'm curious if you still remember my face?" The man mumbled to himself. His mind was on the boy again,he remembered the moment when their's eyes had met,how that deep and intense gaze was looking at him. He felt like it was boring into the deepest corner of his soul. Those big brown eyes were looking so full of innocence and gentleness that he had immediately felt bad just for touching him.
He needed to see the boy again.


"Hyung,hyung! Do you need help?" Taehyung excitedly asked Seokjin while jumping around in the kitchen. Jin chuckled at Taehyung's childish behavior.
"Fine,bring me two eggs from the fridge." He said before going back to chop the vegetables. Taehyung smiled widely and skipped to the fridge,he took the eggs and run back to his hyung.
"Now?" He demanded eagerly,ears forward and tail up.
Jin took the eggs and handed him a plate full of fried chicken wings. "Put this on the kitchen table. And don't touch it." He ordered. Tae grabbed it and carried the plate to the table but the smell was too inviting,he couldn't resist to take a bite. When Jin turned around,he saw Taehyung trying to hide something behind his back and silently munching.
"Yah,rascal I told you to not touch it. Get out of my kitchen,you little kid." Jin scolded and playfully slapped the younger's butt. At the action Taehyung let out a not so manly sound and run out of the kitchen laughing.
He then headed into the living room. There on the couch he saw Suga bussing himself with his phone.
Taehyung started to go toward his hyung and flopped his body on the couch. Seeing that Suga's attention was still on his phone,he laid his head on the latter's lap. Only then the older glanced down at him and smiled.
"What's up Tae? Are you bored?" Taehyung nodded his head and pouted cutely. "I know that being locked in the dorm is frustrating but we can't risk to take you out. I'm sorry." Suga gave him an apologetic smile.
"It's okay hyung." Yeah Taehyung hated to be held into small places but he didn't want to give his friends more problems.
The older boy put his hand on the younger's head and slowly started to pet it. Taehyung's eyes closed,his tail brushed Suga's chest. He loved the feeling of someone playing with his hair.
"Taeeee!" Jimin called from some place inside the house. "Tae!" This time it was near. "Tae! Let's go play." Out of nowhere Jimin's head hovered over Taehyung's face.
"Sure." The brown haired boy jumped off of the couch,he was excited and his eyes were sparkling. "Let's play,let's play. I bet you can't catch me." Taehyung gave Jimin his box smile and started to run.
"Yah,come back here." Jimin started to run after Taehyung.
Ten minutes of running and Jimin was already tired,he stopped to catch his breath. Taehyung continued to giggle nonstop,enjoying the fact that he was faster than Jimin. Just then the maknae entered into the room.
"What's going on?" He asked Jimin.
"I was...trying to ...catch Tae." The latter responded between pants. Jungkook took a quick glance at Tae and smirked.
"I'll help you catch him,hyung. You better run,Tae." Jungkook said. He started to run too and Jimin followed.
Taehyung was fast,he managed to dodge them until they finally cornered him. He was trapped,on either side he had Jimin and Jungkook,behind it was the wall and in front a small sofa. The two were getting closer.
"You can't escape anymore." The maknae teased.
"We got you." Jimin added. When they were at a really close distance,Taehyung skillfully jumped over the sofa and started to run again only to slam into something hard and firm and have a pair of strong arms sneaking around his body,blocking his movements,trapping him.
"Caught you." The new comer said. Taehyung struggled to escape but it was in vain.
"Hyung,let me go." Tae whined.
"Namjoon hyung don't listen to him,keep him there." Jimin informed their leader making his way towards them,Jungkook following behind.
Namjoon loosened his hold and faced Taehyung.
"Hyunggg!" The younger whined while pouting,still wiggling into Namjoon's embrace. To stop the younger from moving he learned closer and pressed his lips on the latter's one. Taehyung stopped immediately,his body froze and his eyes widened.
This time Namjoon's kiss wasn't just a peck,he eagerly moved his lips into a passionate kiss,though it didn't last long because Jungkook pulled Taehyung away into his own embrace,giving Namjoon a nasty glare.
"Hyung,you can't do that." Jimin complained.
"Why not?" The leader had a smug smile plastered on his face.
"He isn't yours." Jungkook voiced,tightening his hold on the blushing Taehyung.
"He isn't yours either." Namjoon responded.
"Jungkook let him go, I was playing with him first." Jimin then snatched Tae from the maknae. They continued to bicker until Taehyung escaped from Jimin's hold.
The cat boy started to run,avoiding Namjoon's and Jimin's hands but he wasn't fast enough to avoid Jungkook's,the latter managed to get a hold on him grabbing him by the tail. But it was a mistake because that made Taehyung let out a heartbreaking cry of pain.
Shocked Jungkook immediately let him go and watched with scared eyes how the latter fell down on the floor,curling himself into a fetal position and pressings his injured tail to his chest. Jimin and Namjoon got down trying to help the injured boy. The maknae just stood there feeling guilty,tears were threatening to come out of his eyes,he has just hurt his Taehyung.
Not long after the others run into the room with Jin in front. When he saw his donsaeng laying on the ground,he immediately kneeled to his side.
"What happened?" He questioned with a worried voice.
"It was just an accident,we were playing and Kookie pulled on his tail." Jimin explained. Jin glanced at the youngest member and saw how mortified he felt,he nodded in understandmeant and turned his attention back to Taehyung.
"Tae!" He called gently,cupping the latter's face with his hands.
Taehyung didn't move and didn't open his eyes either,he was trying to keep in the pain,he didn't want the others to see him cry again,he wanted to be strong.
"Tae?" This time it was Suga. "Are you okay?"
"I'm...fine." Taehyung answered after a while,his breathing was irregular,he opened his eyes and slowly got up with Seokjin's help. His tail was hanging down between his legs,he didn't dare to move it because it hurt like hell. Taehyung was sure that it was broken.
"Hyung,I'm so sorry." The maknae said with a shaking voice and tears stained cheeks.
"Don't worry Kookie,it was an accident and I'm okay." He smiled and ruffled Jungkook's hair. Jungkook sniffled and gave a small smile back.
"I'm going to take a shower,call me when dinner is ready." To avoid more questions and more worried glances from his members Tae decided to hide in the bathroom.
The first thing he did when he entered in the bathroom was to check on his tail,he slowly raised it up with difficulty because every movement was painful and touched it slightly. That only made him hiss in pain.
Like he had thought it was broken.
He wasn't going to tell them about it,the only thing he could do was to hide his tail under his shirt,curling it around his waist and avoiding to touch or move it.

At dinner he acted like usual even when Hoseok accidentally slapped his back,sending a jolt of pain through is body. He scrunched his face in pain but didn't let out a sound.
Jungkook gave him his own share of fried chicken wings because he still felt guilty.
"Thanks Kookie but you should be the one eating them,you still need to grow up." Everyone laughed at Taehyung's statement.
"Yah! Hyung,I'm taller then you." The maknae whined.
