Spring was finally here, opening night was just two days away and the musical was in full swing. Connor and I took our seats In Mrs. Zingers class. Class we are going to begin our poetry analyzing unit she begins, we will start with analyzing Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The tale of two star crossed lovers prepared to end it all for their love. Ah Romeo and Juliet I think the original forbidden romance, it isn't that great of a story its full of plot holes but its meaning at the core is strong. Rehearsal went by smoothly, the set crew did and amazing job recreating North Shore high and the costumes looked amazing. Connor and I were sitting on his bed talking about colleges we wanted to apply to over the summer. We were both thinking of moving to New York and auditioning for NYADA like good old Rachel Berry. We assumed that we both had what it would take and decided to take the summer to do a theatre workshop at our community college. Then I got the text that would change the course of my future. Son, your mother and I have been doing some talking and we come to one conclusion and one conclusion only. While I now understand that you love this boy, I can't accept it. I want you to end things with him and come home. Your mother and I have decided that if you don't come home we are moving to Arizona there is no point in us staying here if you aren't in our lives. I hope you know that I do love you son but there is just no other way, you have till the end of the week to decide- Dad. My whole world came crumbling down I couldn't just leave Connor I care about him to much, but I cant never see my family again. Connor began to see I was distressed, are you ok he asked. Yeah Im fine I lied, I made up my mind he is my Romeo and I am his Juliet. Good he said pulling me closer, I cant for the summer and the future that we have. Not anymore I thought, I cant wait I said. He gave me a kiss and I nestled into his arms.
