Home and away- i'll protect you

Chapter 2

Brax lead his Half-Brother to Kendall's front door, kyle still looked worried. Brax rang the doorbell and soon after footsteps could be heard.

Kendall's POV--

'Hopefully my neighbours bringing house warming gifts' I thought. I was desperately low on supplies. I scattered to the door in my socks and a beach dress. "Oh hey it's you again" I said with a smile on my face when I saw Darryl. But my smile turned into a grin when I saw Kyle standing next to him. "Kendall!" He proclaimed as he hugged me. "What are you doing here? I told you not to keep in touch" he said more seriously. "We miss you at home kyle, I thought it was time we caught up" I said. I looked back at Darryl who was looking more serious than Kyle which I thought was strange. Kyle introduced him, " uhh, this is my housemate Brax, he says you've met". Brax frowned at this. Him and kyle glared at each other and I knew something was up. "Kyle what's going on?" I asked even though I was scared of the answer. "I... Uhh... I gotta go Kenny, I'll come over later" and just the same as Brax did, he left. I was very, very disappointed.

Brax's POV-

Me and kyle walked back to the house in silence, but I was about to ask him something that we were both thinking. "So shes your sister huh?" I said. He didn't reply. "Is she....our sister?" I said quietly. After a moment or two, he nodded. I was completely shocked, why hadn't I heard of her before? We stopped before the front door and I jumped at the opportunity to hit him at the back of his head. "What the hell kyle! Are you telling me I've only just found out about my sister?! You should've brought it up the moment we met. Shes family!" I whispered aggressively, I didn't want case or Heath to hear. "I was trying to protect her" kyle answered in the same dynamic. "I don't care kyle, she isn't just your responsibility, she's all of ours!" I said raising my voice a bit. Kyle hung his head in shame. "We have to go tell them". We went inside and sat everyone down.
