It's the semesters break!
The four of us decided to spend our getaway week in a mountain. Luckily to know, the mountain had cottages. Isn't it great?
Today, we will be going there. Blaire and Ted texted me they would go there together. Time texted: 5 a.m. WHAT?! By the time I get in the entrance gate they would be at the mountain top already! :O
I guess I would be going there alone. Dylan has school stuffs still ongoing. I sighed.
I walk with low spirit. Talking to myself. In the side of my eyes, I can see people looking at me. Now I looked like insane.
I walked fast, only stopping at the entrance gate. When I get inside, I lazily look at the two big boards that welcomed me inside. One is with the rules; the other had the map of the mountain.
The map says there are two ways to get on the top. I choose the one with the least time walking. Although it has a lot of risk, I neglected them. I then went ahead.
I suddenly felt goose bumps when a cold air embraced me. My imagination work as I stride. It's a little shady now. Trees, really big tall trees blocked the sunlight. It gives me the creeps but the forest animals' hum soothing sounds, it's like lulling me to sleep.
Suddenly, something moves near the bushes. I anticipated it would be something wild but found a cute squirrel instead. Phew. Minutes later, the real adventure begun.
As the wind blows, strands of my hair escaped to the air. I keep them from flailing but they keep on thrashing like sea weeds. *Sighs* I had been walking in this steep way for minutes.
I am nearly panting when I heard a voice calling my name. I turned and saw Dylan's silhouette. My cheeks turned sugar beets upon seeing him waving his hand vigorously meters away from me.
"Gretel! Wait up!" He shouted.
"No problem!" I shouted back.
It took him five minutes to reached to where I am.
"Why did you take this way? And all alone? What if you'll have an asthma attack?" He muttered while panting.
"Pshhh, I have my inhaler."
He ruined my hair as if I'm still a kid. " You could have waited for me."
I pulled his hand and throw it off my head. "I didn't know you were coming today." I started walking.
"And besides, Ted and Blaire already been up the mountain, I don't want to keep them waiting."
"They won't need your companionship at the moment. You know them; they always have funny stuffs at hand." He amusedly said.
I throw a glance at him. "Like what?"
"Tickle fights." He grinned at me.
"Oh, hahahaha. I wonder, why don't we try it?" I laughed and realized how disgusting my idea was. Oh dear, having a tickle fight with my crush. >/////<
"Don't take it seriously, I'm just kiddi--" KYAAAHAHAHAHA! STOP THAT!"
He tickled me right to my weak point. I bashed him hard instead tickling him back.
"Ouch! That's why tickle fight isn't your game! You always want to kill people with your fist!" He mumbles while laughing, guarding his chest with his hands.
