Lindsey had a very average childhood, but once she turned 12, she's 16 now, her life was messed up, forever.
I bet you're wondering what she looks like. She has orange-reddish hair that ombre's into a bright red. Her eyes are a dark shade of pink, almost like a red color. Her wings, since she's a fairy elf, are a red orange color, but they have a more orange tint to them. Her favorite thing to do though, was hang around volcanos. So you can imagine that she didn't have many friends. Everyone thought that she was going to die, but she only hung around volcanos that she knew were not active.
Sitting on the top of her favorite volcano, watching the sun set. Once the sun had finally set and the stars were now up above her, she flew down from the volcano, emitting a kind of red orange glow. (All of the elf fairies do that at night, and they only will glow the color of their element if they are an elemental elf fairy)
'I wonder if mom and dad will be working late.... I actually kind of hope so because I hate acting like the princess I am...'
She arrived at her house, the door completely shut, and..... locked? 'That's weird, they never lock the door, ever.' She grabbed a small key from her pocket and unlocked the door. The silence was deafening. She walked to her room, but before she could make it up the stairs, she saw a note that was sitting on a table for her. She walked over to it and picked it up.
The note read:
"Dear Lindsey, I hope you forgive us for all we put you through. We treated like the person you weren't, and we are very sorry. We know that if you're reading this, our killer has already come and killed us. We don't know which room we will be in, but don't come and look for us. Go. Go to your volcano. Your father and I don't know if our killer is going to come after you, but we doubt he/she will. We love you. With utmost apologies and the greatest love you could ever have, Mom and dad."
"M-mom, d-dad. Dead..?" Tears burned down her cheeks almost like fire was falling down her face. She followed her parents instructions as they told her to do, and went to the volcano. Luckily, she had created a hole in the side of it and made herself a smaller home.
It had everything she needed to survive, food, water, everything. And she also had the best view of the sky that someone could get when they sat on, or in the volcano. She walked to her bed, and fell asleep, tears rolling down her face and hitting the pillow with a drip, drip noise.
