She props her feet up onto the dash of his car, her legs a golden brown thanks to the day spent in the summer sun.

He glances sideways at her and a smile graces his face as he takes her hand in his and gives it a gentle squeeze.

The road they travel is long and winding through the English countryside, the scenery is lined with pastures in different shades of green that stretch on for miles.

"Harry!" she suddenly cries out in surprise, startling him.

"Lilly!" he pretends to scold her as his heart beat accelerates, "don't do that!"

"But look at that!" she smiles at him, pointing out the window, her legs now off the dash, "It's so beautiful!"

Harry follows to where her finger is pointing and sees the bright yellow meadow which seems out of place amongst the dominant greens.

"Can we stop?" she begs, "please?"

Harry smiles as he pulls the car over.

Lilly could ask him to catch a star for her and Harry knows he would try.

They both exit the car and Harry watches as Lilly crawls through the wire fencing.

"Careful!" he warns her as she makes it through and begins twirling through the yellow flowers.

Through the wire, through the wire, through the wire I'm watching her dance, dress is catching the light.

Harry follows her through the fence and runs after her, captivated by her laugh as her hands run through the tops of the flowers. Lilly twirls around, waiting for him to catch up to her and she smiles at Harry as she grabs his hand.

"Look Harry!" Lilly says in delight as she points to the cluster of white that moves from the flowers and flutters off into the sky.

The summertime and the butterflies all belong to your creation, I love you, that's all I do.

Lilly pulls Harry by the hand and continues to run through the yellow meadow until she soon tires.

Harry watches as Lilly falls onto her back, patting the spot beside her for him to join her.

He grins and obliges her request and lays down next to her, their hands clasp together as they gaze up at the clouds.

Hey Angel, do you know the reasons why we look up to the sky?

Lilly is drawn to the clouds that move in the gentle breeze, however Harry only has eyes for his love.

He leans himself up on his elbow and looks down at Lilly.

"Have I told you how much I love you?" he says fondly.

"Only about ten times today," Lilly turns her attention to the handsome boy with the curly locks and smiles.

After all this time he still manages to take her breath away.

Harry leans down and kisses Lilly gently on the lips and nothing tastes as sweet to him.

Lips so good I forget my name; I swear I could give you everything.

Lilly shivers underneath Harry's touch and cannot say for certain if it's because of him, or the increasing clouds in the sky that are beginning to cover up the azure colour.

Harry notices her shiver and brings his arms around Lilly, pulling him over on top of him, his hands running up and down her arms to warm her cooling skin.

Lilly snuggles her head onto Harry's chest, relishing the warmth of him and smiling to herself, he is always the warm body out of the two of them no matter the weather.

"The weather's starting to turn," Harry says to Lilly as he looks up into the dulling afternoon sky.

"But it's so cosy here Harry," Lilly replies as she closes her eyes and listens to his heart beat, "can't we stay just a little bit longer?"

Harry kisses the top of Lilly's head and chuckles.

"It's starting to get very grey my love," he says, "I think it's going to rain..."

I keep on holding tight now, cause your body's telling me don't let go.

Reluctantly, Lilly releases her grip on Harry and stands up from their secluded hideaway amongst the meadow flowers, realising just how cool the weather has become.

In her excitement to explore the field, she realises she's left her coat in the car and hugs herself against the chilly wind that's just picking up.

"Lilly...wait..." Harry says, touching her gently on the arm.

Without hesitating, Harry takes off his own green coat and gently places it around Lilly's shoulders, bringing it up and around her neck to keep her warm.

It engulfs her tiny frame and she pulls it close to her, savouring the warmth and Harry's familiar smell.

He leans down and kisses her freckled nose before nuzzling it with his own.

"Thank you Harry," she smiles up at him.

I wanna lend you my coat, one that's as soft as your cheek, so when the world is cold, you'll have a hiding place you can go, I wanna lend you my coat.

Suddenly the sky is dark and the first drops of rain begin to fall.

Before they can even register, the drops become heavier and fall faster, soaking the both of them.

They look at each other and begin to laugh, not believing that their day has turned out like this.

Harry tucks Lilly's hair behind her ears and leans down to kiss her and she happily reciprocates his kiss.

In the distance, a rumble can be heard then the sound of lightning flashes in the sky.

I said you're on fire babe, then down came the lightning on me, love can be frightening for sure.

They jump apart in fright and laugh before Harry grabs Lilly by the hand and they begin to run back through the flower meadow and to Harry's car.

Harry holds the wire fence for Lilly to climb through before he follows her.

Safely in the car, they watch the approaching storm and marvel at the change of weather.

Lilly lays her head back onto the seat and smiles at Harry, wondering how she got so lucky to be able to call him hers.

"Let's go home," she says a sleepy, dreamy smile on her face.

Harry takes hold of her hand and places a kiss to it before starting the engine and driving off, the constant patter of the rain lulling Lilly to sleep.

Harry looks over at Lilly and wonders how he got so lucky to be able to call her his.
