Chapter sixteen

"And it seems we have a new student today. I'm sorry I wasn't aware we were getting a new student. Would you like to introduce yourself?"

"Seriously Mr Smith?" I shot him a look.

"You know me?" Mr Smith looked surprised as he leaned his backside against the front of his desk.

"Yeah, you've been my teacher since year seven" I snapped back and sat down in a free seat in the middle of the class.

Mr Smith looked confused as ever and student were looking between Mr Smith and I, to try connect the dots.

"I'm so sorry but I-"

"Far out! Angelica Collins!" I interrupted and rolled my eyes at him

Murmurs filled the class instantly.

"Angelica?" Mr Smith said in disbelief and surprise.

"I'm a bit offended Sir" I said mockingly

"But you're dead" Mr Smith said with wide eyes

"Seriously sir?! You believed all the rumours?" I scoffed when he didn't reply.

'Guess Mr Hotness is better looking than smart' My wolf laughed at her own joke.

"I heard you got transported to Australia for being in possession of drugs" A guy at the back of the class said.

I turned around to give him a look. Jock.

"Why would I go to Australia?" I asked slowly in case his small brain couldn't register fast words.

"Because it's surrounded by sea, so there's no way to leave. Duh!" He laughed and fisted pumped another jock sitting next to him.

"What about the people that live in Australia?" I asked

"Pft what about them?" He smirked back and put an arm around the seat next to him which happened to have a bimbo looking girl sitting in it. Isn't it too cold to wear shorts that short?

"How do you think Hugh Jackman or Rebel Wilson got here?" I asked with a cocked eyebrow.

His expression went blank with confusion. Good thing he's a stereotypical dumb jock, because I wouldn't of thought of a comeback after that quick enough.

Flicking my hair over my shoulder I turned back to the front of the class. 'Oh's and 'burns' went through the class and I couldn't help but smirk.

"Settle down class!" Mr Smith yelled over the noise and waited for the class to quieten down with his arms crossed over his chest. Then he looked over back at me. "It's good to have you back Mrs Collins"

"It's good to be back Sir" I smiled showing all my teeth.

"How was class?" Danny asked when I came to our old usual sitting place. A table under the big tree on the hill. This place was so good, you could basically see the entire school up here. A bonus was hardly anyone knew about this spot. No one wanted to climb the hill.

"Shit" I simply replied. "Do you know there was a rumour going around that I was deported to Australia for possession of drugs?" I asked sitting down.
