As young Phoenix made his way to the defendant lobby for his trial, he bumped into someone. A lawyer perhaps. As "mature" as he is, he didn't walk away and apologized to... her. "S-Sorry!" His face flushed, eyes widened slightly. Oh my God, he thought. 'Oh no... I'm not supposed to look at other girls, I have Dahlia... Right? She's gonna get mad at me! N-no! I only love my Dollie! But this lady is really beautiful...'

He zoned out on her face.

"Sir? Are you alright?"

"A-a-ah... Y-yes! I-I'm okay!!!"

"Mr. Wright, right? Mr. Grossberg and Ms. Fey are waiting for you by the lobby. Sorry, I've got to go!"

2019

The floor was freshly mopped, on a perfect day where Phoenix was walking to the courtroom lobby, someone crashed and slipped into him! Causing the two's papers to fly and a lady to straddle Phoenix.

"Holy Sh-!"

"E-eek!" Phoenix (manly) squeaked. His hands falling to her waist.

He stared at the lady's face again. Oh my god, he thought. 'It's her!' His face flushed once again, remembering how he used to have a little crush on her.

"Uh, sorry. Mr. Wright. As much as I like this position, we're on a public place and I'm definitely late."

"Huh...? A-aack!" He blushed furiously.

He stood up and help her get her papers. "Thanks, it's been a long time! Oh, how you've grown!" "Uh yeah it is... W-what's your name? I never caught it...?" He trailed, waiting for her reply. "Y/N L/N, nice to finally meet you properly. I need to go now... Here's my business card if you need something." She gave him her card, and she left.

How do you ask someone out on a date? He thought.

He gets to see her again, but during work. Turns out, she's a prosecutor. She's a good friend of his mentor. Basically, she's good friends with everyone.

She's the prosecutor of today's case.

Phoenix definitely had a hard time.

She's hard to fight with. She has every evidence, witnesses with testimonies you can't cross-examine to. Really, really confident that she'll win the case.

Also, this is Phoenix's time to observe her features.

God damnit, she's so beautiful. She's so passionate about her job, it's making him fall in love again.

He's either loosing this case because he kept zoning out, or the client's really guilty.

Phoenix wants to thank Maya for bringing him back to reality.

"Phoenix! Just ask her out already! Finish this case, and then the date. Okay?!" Maya exclaimed.

"At least I get to see her everyday on court!" He reasoned.

"Yeah you get to see her on court EVERYDAY, but what if she suddenly went to another country?!" Maya argued.

Phoenix lost his job.

He kept forgetting about her, because he knows that love is not important at the moment and he has a mission to do right now.

Those lawyer days, she was his inspiration. And when she went away, inspiration left him too.

Finally, the trio caught the Phantom!

They were celebrating outside the courtroom lobby when someone spoke,

"Congrats, Phoenix."

Everyone stopped chattering and Simon gasped,

"Prosecutor Y/N!"

"Detective Y/N." Edgeworth greeted.

"Too much titles, just call me Y/N"

"Y/N... w-where have you been?" Phoenix asked.

"Ah, sorry if I didn't get to say goodbye to you that time. Been working with Interpol, that's all. I was gonna ask you out before that, but Interpol really needs me."

"U-uh... ask me... out?"

"So Phoenix, do you have time today?"
