Holding onto Forever

Goodbyes and hellos.

I woke up to my alarm clock, I got out of bed and changed into a pair of black jeans and a black and white tee shirt, I slipped on my leather jacket and my black converse. I walked into my bathroom and brushed my teeth and did my make up, then I brushed my hair. I decided to keep it down and wear my hood, I packed up all my make up, hair brush, and tooth brush then shoved them in my bag. There was a knock at my door so I quickly ran out and grabbed it, a bunch of moving men came in and started hauling my stuff out. I helped Luke carry my luggage out to his car then saw the men carry the last five boxes out of my room.

"ready?" Luke asked me as the giant truck let.

"yeah just give me a minute." I said and walked back into the house, I walked up into my room and shut my door. I looked around the empty room and sighed, I slowly walked over to my balcony doors and opened them then stepped out. I looked down at Luke waiting for me in the car, I walked back inside and shut the doors. I took out my phone and saw I had three texts, I opened them and began crying.

I love you Skylar with all my heart, don't ever forget that! No matter what, you can always come home to me!

I cried and cried until I realized Luke was waiting, I jumped to my feet and ran to my bathroom. I wiped away my running make up and walked to my door, I opened it and took one last look around the walked out shutting the door behind me. I ran down stairs, passed my mother and sister then outside. I jumped into Luke's car and buckled up making sure he didn't see my face.

"ready?" he asked, I nodded and leaned my head against the window. He started the car and began driving to the airport, when we got there I checked through everything and went to grab my other bag that I was bringing with me on the plane. Luke walked me over to my plane entrance then sighed. "well... I guess this is goodbye." I nodded and hugged him.

"I'm gonna miss you!" I sobbed, he rubbed my back.

"Plane 84 ready for boarding." a woman over the loud speaker said, I pulled away and wiped my tears.

"that's me..." I sighed, Luke handed me my bag. I turned around and started walking away.

"Wait Skylar!" Luke stopped me and hugged me again. "I love you!" 

"I love you too! bye." I said and walked on board the plane, I found my seat and put one of my bags up top then sat down. I looked out the window and waited for take off, in the distance I could see a small figure running at the plane waving there hands. I squinted trying to see who it was.

"sorry folks but it looks like we have someone close to our take off, we'll be delayed ten minutes." the pilot said, As the person got closer I finally could make out who it was. I jumped out of my seat and pushed through everyone then got to the door.

"excuse me miss, you can't get off this plane."

"you don't understand I have to!" I said and ran out the door and down the steps.

"Skylar!" he called out.

"Ross!" I smiled as he picked me up and hugged me tightly, he pressed his lips onto mine one last time...

"I needed to say goodbye!" he pressed his forehead against mine, I slightly smiled. "I love you so much!" a single tear slid down his face.

"I love you too!"

"excuse me miss you have to get back on board the plane." a woman told me, I nodded.

"don't leave me." Ross said trying his best to hold back the tears.

"I have to, maybe one day we'll meet again. But until then... goodbye." I said and pressed my lips back on his, the woman grabbed my hand and yanked me away.
