Victoria's POV
Shawn likes Hailey...
I can't believe he messed up my feelings and then tells me that he likes Hailey! What the actual fuck?! I should shape up and get to cheer practice. I should just live life as being single for now.
I head down to the local cheer gym where my cheer team practices every Saturday and Wednesday for 2 hours each time. I run to their locker room and start changing into my shorts and cheer shirt. I put on my sneakers, and I put my hair up into a pony tail,adding a bow to it.
"Alright girls, Annie couldn't make it to this practice because she broke her leg" Coach Marie says frowning. The whole entire team gasps. Who will be the team captain now? "Therefore we need to work together to find a fill in to replace Victoria's spot because she will be our new team captain!" Coach Marie smiles excitedly. My eyes grow wide and my mouth opens into an O shape. I honestly don't know how to react to this. Madison jumps up and down smiling. "Congratulations bestie!" She shouts as I thank her and giggle.
We start to do some stretches like lunges,squats, and pikes. We do stretching for about 20 minutes before moving on to working on the actual cheer for about 45 minutes. For about 20 minutes we work on the pyramid. Finally we work on tumbling for the rest of the time we have. I work on my round-off back-handspring back tuck and my front tucks a little more. Then I take it up a notch and I start to work on my full and my double front tuck. If you couldn't tell already, I'm a level 7
cheerleader, training level 8. I've been doing cheer since I was 7 years old also.
When I get home I hop onto my bed and I casually text Jack.
Me: hey bestie
Jack: hey gurl
Me: what's up?
Jack: I'm bored let me come over
Me: fine, lets order pizza
Jack: I'll pay😏
Me: the fuck was that smirk for?
Jack: shush😂
Me: Ard get over here now, I'm hungry
Jack: ur always hungry
Me: stfu
Jack: I'll be there in 5
Me: come quickly
Jack: that sounded wrong,Vic
Me: shut up J
Jack: naw I'm good
Me: bye
Jack: nooooo
Me: GET HERE NOW!!
Jack: I'm coming bye!
Jack barges into my house (again!). "Jack, you need to fucking knock next time!" I push him. "But..." He frowns as I laugh. We order pepperoni pizza and we decide to watch Insurgent because of my obsession with Theo James. The rest of the night goes pretty smooth until we both fall asleep on the couch.
