Columbia's POV
"I can't sleep ugh!!!"

"Shut up!! You've been going on and on for 2 hours now let me sleep!!"

"Like you can talk Jacob, all I hear is a fog horn when you sleep!!"

"Stop it this instant!! I will not tolerate this any longer!! Columbia go to sleep, just at least try ok. Also Jacob stop giving her a hard time, it's normal for her to be like this"

"Aunt Judy!!"

"Now Columbia listen to me if you keep on talking you will be put on the street for all I care! Maybe your boyfriend uh Julian right? Yeah well you can live with him. Now good night everyone, be quiet!"

All becomes silent and I slowly begin to drift off to sleep.

'Whoosh'

What was that noise? Probably just the wind.
What's the time anyways? What! 1:35am!! Stupid wind woke me up this freaking early!!i need to sleep...I need to ignore the sounds of the night.

'Whoosh'

"There's that noise again!! What if someone is outside? That's not possible, stop it Columbia you're just paranoid"

"Actually there's someone inside my dear"

"Who is there!? I'm very sure I don't know you"

"Yes you don't know me, but I sure do know you"

I struggle around to find my phone, "where is it!!".

"Are you looking for this?'

I see my phone in the strangers hand, hovering there beaming the familiar bright light.
The stranger holding my phone seemed to be avoiding the light of the phone, probably so I can't see him and report him to police.

"Give it back"

"My you are gorgeous, but with a better smile you would be just about as good looking as me"

"What?"

"I have plotted killing you, but now I see how delectably gorgeous you look I can't stand to do so, unless you betray me", "Now go to sleep this will all be explained in due time"
