#11 Derek/Jackson

{DEREK'S POV}

"What are you doing here?" I growled as I sensed Jackson behind me.  I turned around to see his bare chest catching the moon light and I had to flash my eyes away to keep myself from gawking.

"I'm here asking what the hell I did wrong" he demanded in an angered tone "you just fucking blew up on me and I have no idea what I did to cause it."  I pursed my lips together in a firm line as I tried to piece together an answer.

"You didn't do anything" I sigh as I look up at the half moon.

"Then why did you just blow up like that" Jackson asked with a softer tone.  I felt like telling him everything.  The thoughts I've been having about him recently.  The way I just want to feel his lips on mine.

"Because I did, it's not like it matters anyway" I grumbled as I put my walls back around myself.  God, why do I keep letting my guard down around this kid?  He's a kid for god sakes.

'Mine' I could almost hear my wolf growl and I had to hold back a groan.  I shook my head and started to walk away, I can't deal with these feelings right now.

"It matters to me" Jackson spoke up, with an almost desperate tone to his voice.  I turned back to face him.

"Why?" slipped from my lips in a sad voice before I could stop it.  No one has ever care about my feelings, no one ever cares to figure out the why for my actions.  They always just assume that I meant the worst.

"Because I know you Derek, better than I know most people strangely enough" Jackson admitted in a self conscious tone "and I know that you don't normally blow up at people for spilling grape juice on the carpet.  I want to know what's wrong, what's bothering you."  I bit my lip to keep my eyes from trailing all over his body.

"Well I'd like to know that as well" I sighed as I leaned up against a thick tree "everything has just been so confusing lately."

"Confusing how?" Jackson quizzed, taking a few steps closer to me.  I felt my heart pick up speed at the proximity and I just wanted to kiss him on the spot but I held myself back.

"Just confusing" I mumbled, not able to keep my eyes of his soft pink lips.  Those lips that had been the center of my thoughts for the past few weeks now.

"Derek..." Jackson breathed out "I like you."  It took me a minute to comprehend what he'd just said and then my heart picked up speed.  Without thinking, I closed the distance between our lips and pressed mine to his.  It was everything I had imagined and more.  The taste, the feel, the motion of him returning the kiss.  It was perfect.

By the time we pulled away, we were both panting for breath.  His blue eyes gazed into my eyes that were slowly turning a bright red with passion.

"Your eyes" he gasped.

"It tends to happen when my emotions are going crazy" I smiled and he grinned.  I was just beginning to lean down for another kiss when I heard it.

"It's about time the lovely couple made it official" Isaac stated with an amused smirk, completely ruining the moment.  I shot him a glare and decided it was payback.

"You do realize that revenge is a bitch, right" I grinned at Isaac before pulling Jackson in for another kiss.  I heard Isaac gag and I just smiled as I continued kissing the guy that I was slowly falling for.
