Brylee's POV
I tore through my father's lands with a new, burning hope to get my mate and alpha back. I was flanked by Amber and Brody as they took out any of the pack members that tried to stop us. I was in my human skin; they were wolves. "So, you've come hey?" My father grinned at me, in an almost sarcastic 'I'll try to stop you' smile.
"I'm going to get my mate."
The other Alphas growled and moved out to flank the two on my left and right. Alpha Perry and his son; my beta on my right with Amber and her mother and step dad. Rose, Joshua and Lukas on my left. All snarling and growling until the pack were too intimidated to move, which gave me the opportunity to waltz straight through unharmed towards my dad. "I'll fight you eventually." I snarled on my way past. He was looking back at the massive alpha force I had as company with fear in his brown eyes. He allowed us through, so we continued on our way to the house without any more interruptions.
Rose and Joshua went on ahead; being the smaller ones they were good for stealth. Kristian stayed home with Emma, Arrow and Brad. The two small wolves didn't trip any alarms, but managed to take out two guards on the porch of the house. It was only when one of the other guards yelped in pain that Daniel came out to face us; sickly smile on his face before he shifted.
He immediately went for Amber. But someone collided with him mid-air when he tried to jump on her; Alec. In wolf form, Dan had no chance against the pure bulk of muscle as they rolled onto the floor; flashing of ivory teeth and tufts of fur. Amber froze in place when a whelp of pain came from the fighting pair of males, Alec was tossed onto his side, but easily recovered and stood head low and snarling.
While Dan was focused on Alec, Amber jumped and went for the throat. She managed to grip on but didn't quite get to his jugular before he tried to shake her off. But she held her ground against him. He was bleeding quite badly when Amber let go, Dan's blood dripping off her fangs and her eyes zoned in for the kill. The finishing blow happened so fast, but the blood oozed out of the newly opened wound in the side of Dan's stomach and his throat. It decorated the floor, staining the soil and grass.
Even Brody and Doug were tearing their way through leaving a path straight to the door of the house. I couldn't smell Nuka anywhere, but the scent of Lizzy was almost poisonous. Alpha Caroline followed me in and tore through a door leading to the basement, she gestured to go down but stopped when an army of little wolves jumped on her back, trying to wound her. Which filed as Stephen stepped into the room and let out a deafening snarl, causing them to run off in different directions.
Cautiously, I descended the stairs, appalled by the strong scent of blood. Lizzy was sat on top of my mate, literally begging him to open his eyes to look at her. When she placed a kiss on his lips, I saw red.
Ambers POV
I followed behind Brylee, physically shivering from the stench of blood and death in the room below the floorboards. I could smell Nuka, although, it was faint and his heart beat was slightly increased. I focused on Brylee, who flew down the stairs at Lizzy. Lizzy, had been straddling Nuka, wasn't expecting to see a wolf in her face.
Shifting back to human form, I quickly looked over my alpha. Thankfully, the crazy psycho had kept his clothes on and hadn't tried to have sex with him. There was snarling and snapping from behind me, with a few yelps and more growls of pain. "Alpha Nuka, it's me!" I yelled, tapping the side of his face in desperation, "Its Amber! Open your eyes."
Looking into the desperate brown orbs, I tried to break the chains he was chained up with. "Can you tell me what happened?" I asked, finding a tool on the floor which I used to snap open the locks. "She... Drugged me... can't...use power." He mumbled, as if he was high. "It should wear off soon." I clung to the tool I had in my hands but yelled for Alec to come and help. His wolf self-appeared quicker than I thought, but shifted into his human form to carry Nuka out of the basement.
"Brylee, we got him, come on now !!" I ordered as she ripped into Lizzy's side with her fangs. Mom came down the stairs to look for us, then helped Alec carry Nuka. Stephen was fighting off a rogue with horrid teeth and fur. "Nuka, we're here, we've got you." My mother mumbled as she tried to carry his weight. Alpha Perry took over as soon as we got him outside. Stephen leaped through a window and rolled to the floor limping. Brylee was no-where to be seen. Doug was wounded and being carried by Brody, who was limping. My mother gulped and looked back at the porch.
There was a man in his forties, carrying the unconscious form of my other alpha; Brylee. His hair white as snow but his eyes were col and dead. "Hello Caroline." The smile made my mother go white. "Mom?" I asked, Joshua and Lukas joining my questioning stare. "Oh," he looked between my mother and I. "This is my daughter? How gorgeous and perfect. She can meet her step-mother." He grinned again as Lizzy stepped onto the porch, battered and bleeding, but still standing.
